Product has been used several times with many different types of cards.Interface does seem a little 'slow' sometimes. I think it may be a case of older technology and newer cards.

A step above the competition
I made the mistake of ordering a cheaper model from a different manufacturer. The difference is night and day, this card reader is well built, with a sturdy cable and metal components. I could tell right away it was a quality product. Money well spent here!

CONNECTION IS NOT SECURE DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE DATA
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTIT WIPED THE DATA CLEAN OFF OF 2 SD CARDS BACK TO BACK.I used this for several months. It is not a stable connection and will corrupt your cards. The reader constantly disconnects from my Mac while plugged in. This was a typical occurrence. A few days ago, I was dumping project files onto my machine. I got up momentarily and came back to over 10 alerts that the drive was disconnected. This means 10x, while plugged in, the reader disconnected and reconnected. When I opened the card, the folders were all empty. I thought surely this was a mistake. I ejected the disc and inserted another card full of data. I open it and all of the folders are empty. I then put the cards back in my camera to see if I could read the files from there and they were 100% empty. This piece of garbage cleared the data off of cards just by having inserted them into it. You sure do get what you pay for. Thousands of dollars worth of client work gone.I bought software to try to salvage the data and was not able to recover any video footage. Please just invest in a good card reader. Don't make the mistake of using a weird 3rd party company.
