Great aquarium sand
Love the color and really didn't need much rinsing. Just wish I had bought another bag.

Clean sand!
I purchased the beown sand. Didnt cloud water at all, which was a pleasent surprise. You have to wash the sand first, I did this by filling a bowl with the sand half way and then running water in the bowl, letting it overflow until it cleared. You get a decent sized bag, so Im surprised this company is not more popular.

perfect
it was the exact look i was going for. there weren't many pictures online of the chingwe color so i wanted to add pictures for anyone that's curious. it's the perfect light colored sand to me. it's not so white that it looks unnatural. but it's lighter than the namale color. which is exactly what i was wanting. glad i went ahead and tried it even without many reference photos. i'm gonna use it in my next tank also.

Looks and feels great!
I wasn't sure how long to wash this out, reviews didn't specify, but I washed it out with hot water for about 45 minutes to an hour, let it sit overnight in treated water, and rinsed it out again for about 15 minutes the next day, just to be safe, before placing it in my Danio 20-gallon tank and adding my Danios back in maybe 10 minutes after filling the tank back up. I've had it for about a week and haven't noticed any issues in my fish. They seem to really love it, they're much more active and love sifting through it. I love the texture and color, it looks and feels like sand from the beach! My tank looks much more beautiful now, I can't wait to get some more plants to add to it. 100% recommend to anyone looking to switch from gravel to sand, like me, or anyone that likes to use sand as a substrate. It's a bit pricey for how much you're getting and I wish it was maybe $10 cheaper, but I think it's well worth it in quality. Definitely buying another bag for my 10-gallon Betta tank.

Absolutely love it
Like the title says I'm incredibly happy with this sand! It looks very nice and natural and is a good mid sized grain, not too fine not too gravely with a mix of natural colors. I was worried one bag wouldn't be enough at first but it absolutely was, and I had some left over! (I used substrate bags to raise the back up)

Color is more red than brown...
Far more red than I was expecting. Was hoping for a dark brown. Reminds me of the McDonald's mulch color 😮💨

Not bad, not great
Darker and browner than pictured, especially when wet, and had a funny smell. Definitely not as light as typical beach sand, more of a river sand color. Has some nice sparkly pieces (mica?) though.Ended up buying some ADA sand and the grain size on that is much larger than this stuff.

Great quality sand
I ordered the Namale for a natural look and couldn’t be happier. The sand was fine grain with a good variability to the color that made it look natural. I rinsed the sand several times before adding it and there was minimal dust and cloudiness. I purchased 11lbs which worked well for my 10 gallon tank (I built up the substrate with gravel first before capping it with the sand). I would buy this again for my next tank.
