Samsonite Stryde 2 Hardside Expandable Luggage with Double Spinner Wheels, Carry On Glider, Deep Teal

I did lots of research to find a good quality, hard sided carry-on suitcase. I don’t fly often, but the suitcase I used before was a soft sided one, and it wobbled horribly when trying to pull it behind you. It was also showing wear. I wanted something high quality that would last, and I’m very happy with my choice. It fit easily in the overhead bins on my recent flight with United, it rolls very smoothly with no wobble, and it has well thought out compartments inside for all your stuff. It also has a fairly unique design on the outside. I didn’t see a bag like it at either airport I went to. It was more than I was waiting to spend, but so far it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

I love these! They have traveled via car and air a few times and no scratches or blemishes or issues of any kind. The interior looks so high end and all the compartments help you get more in. If your make up breaks or your shampoo leaks it wont get all over your clothes. You can get more in here I do believe. I like the way you can use it like a valet for long fancy dresses while all ypur other things are rolled or folded. The handles work well and stay in position( lots of positions for every height person). Now i pack 50lbs consistently in mine and I will say these roll about the same as any other dual roller wheel case at that weight. Rolls more easily than single wheel designs especially on those long carpeted hotel hallways. I haven't had an issue with the zippers but I haven't traveled with them in the tsa locks either. Mine came with extra zipper heads in one of the interior pockets inside a little pouch sealed to the pocket so they are always right there if needed.

My first set of “adult” luggage. I love the off-set large bag. So much easier to maneuver and the smaller case piggybacks nicely on the larger one. The small case has a port for a battery charger. I love the hanger clip for hanging clothes in the large bag. And the dividers make packing a breeze. The clamshell design is new to me and took a little while to get used to. But overall. Very very happy. The wheels roll smooth and have 360 rotation on the large bag. Note: I purchased the “like new” option and saved 50%. It came with everything still in original packing with all the plastic wrap still on. I think someone probably didn’t like the off set and reformed. There was NOTHING wrong with it. And I could return if there was anything wrong. Great deal!

Loved the stackable format!!! The cases are solid and stable but also lightweight. They made European travel, a breeze, even though I was flying alone on this trip. I used a luggage strap to increase stability. I have back issues and this product is lightening years better than even more expensive luggage I have used in the past. It is one of the few items I would classify as a “MUST HAVE” for any flying traveler.

This is a very sturdy and attractive piece of medium size luggage and great for a weekend away by car but too large for a carry on on an airplane trip. I recently checked it as baggage and it held up perfectly.

We bought two of these suitcases, one for my husband and one for myself. We love how this case combines a hanging bag with a large suitcase for folded clothes and other items. I was able to pack enough clothes for a 4 day trip (2 outfits for each day) along with toiletry items, hair care tools and 4 pairs of shoes with ease. I am an overpacker! My only concern is the hanging piece that secures the hangers is made of plastic so I’m hopeful it will hold up. Overall, a great piece of luggage!

The suitcase is undeniably stylish and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of great features that initially made me excited to use it. The compartments are well laid out, the material feels durable, and overall it gives the impression of being a high-quality piece of luggage. Unfortunately, I ran into a major issue right away with the retractable handle. It gets stuck at the shortest setting and refuses to extend fully, which makes it nearly impossible to use comfortably. The most frustrating part is that I discovered this before even taking it on its first trip, yet I can’t return it because the return window is so short. For the price and the otherwise promising design, I really wanted this suitcase to work out, but a malfunctioning handle is a dealbreaker for travel. I hope the manufacturer addresses this flaw, because with a functional handle, it could have been an excellent suitcase.

Der Samsonite Stryde (Glider) ist ein Koffer, den es nur in den USA gab. Er ist durch die quadratische Form genial zum Reisen, denn man kann auf ihm eine andere Tasche oder Trolley abstellen, ohne dass sie ständig runter fällt und somit längere Strecken an Airport bequem zurückliegen. Ich reise ständig und habe den Stryde bereits seit zehn Jahren das Modell als Version Long Journey. Ich hatte wegen der quadratischen Form auch nie irgendwelchen Ärger am Check In, denn die Gesamtmasse passen. Leider gehen lösen sich die Rollen allmählich auf und es gibt hier keine Ersatzrollen, da der Koffer nie in Europa vertrieben wurde. Ich musste leider feststellen, dass das Modell auch in den USA nicht mehr angeboten wird („discontinued“). Also ich mich mal auf die Suche gemacht ob ich nicht noch schnell einen aus Restbestand finde, den ich mir als Reserve kaufe, falls sich die Rollen an meinem mal endgültig zerlegen. Zum Glück hatte ein Händler den noch auf Amazon als Import und ich hab das Teil gekauft. Keine Ahnung, warum Samsonite diese kubische Form nie weltweit vertrieben hat, beziehungsweise jetzt sogar ganz einstellt. wahrscheinlich sind die meisten potentiellen Käufer ängstlich, dass sie mit der Form Ärger haben. Dabei ist das Konzept genial

Great little suitcase - however I paid for expedited delivery - which was supposed to come yesterday... and did not.. who do I talk to about that ?
