As advertised...works with molding plaster as well

First use and it's ruined, the mold shredded trying to get my project out

I make homemade soaps and I love the look of my soaps from this mold. The mold is super flexible so unmolding is a breeze. Because it's silicone I do not have to worry about the heat when I pour soap in or about putting it in the freezer if the soap is particularly soft and needs some help to come out intact.The only thing I can fault is the top right corner of the mold if the leaf points are pointing up. As the mold is thin to help with unmolding, that area is just a large corner with no support and does sag which pulls on that edge of the individual leaf mold in the top right a little sideways. I think the easiest fix is to just trim that corner with really sharp scissors.This is a quality mold with a really nice design. Really like it!

The design and depth of the leaf mold pattern is good, but the silicone itself feels too flimsy for my needs. I have others that are thicker and more slippery feeling. I don't think this will be easy to work with or clean or last long after multiple dishwasher use.
