CrossTac got tired of using old smelly socks filled with rice, they get wet and soon are a disaster. CrossTac designed an ergonomic zippered rear bag everyone could get into. This rear squeeze bag is oval shaped to ergonomically fit your hand and is very comfortable for extended shooting sessions. The special fabric on these bags only stretches vertically - this means when you squeeze the bag, the pressure causes the bag to go up, doing what you want, rather than out. A wrist strap runs the full length to keep the bag located in the palm of your hand, or you can tether it with some 550 cord to your shooting mat. This bag comes pre-filled with inert solid poly beads - these gave the bag the best ";squeezability"; feel during CrossTacs field tests. It is ideal for use while on the go, and spares the shooter the need to haul around more heavy-duty shooting support bags. Also, the bag has enough weight to stay put, while providing pretty good support and elevation, and complements a rifle with a bi-pod quite effectively, particularly when out in the field.Cons: The Crosstac Tactical Rear Squeeze Bag is a bit on the small side, so when the elevation it provides is insufficient, I have to use my non-shooting hand as additional support to get the stock of the rifle to the height I want it. The rectangular shape of the bag allows for different heights, and its lightweight design allows it to be positioned with ease, but I would have liked a bag with a bit more volume, which would provide more height and reduce the role of awkward hand use for more height. However, the portability and ruggedness of this rear support bag outweighs the minor issue of the bag being a bit on the small side, hence the 4 stars vs. 5 stars.All in all, though, this is a nice, versatile piece of gear that has been worth the somewhat steep price tag. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Adjust *by F***V on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2021* I took a bit of the filler out when I first got it. It was just a bit too filled for my personal preference. I think the amount I took out was around 3/4 cup dry measure. Nice that they had it that full when I got it. It comes over-stuffed, but I easily removed about 1/2 cup of the fill, and now it is squeezable and formable. However, it has a distinct, rectangular shape, and the bag material has a grippy surface, and is not as squishable and formable as my old bb-filled sock. It works great most of the time, but in some positions in the field, I prefer the easier fomability of the old sock, and the ability to slide the rifle butt around just a wee bit.
