Cheap but they seem to work with a little mod.
My previous fuel filter was starting to show staining on the yellow paper element, so I figured it was time to replace. These looked good online but when I got them, they appeared and felt a little cheap, like the plastic was thinner than the Israeli-made one I was replacing. My biggest issue is the input and output ends are NOT barbed! Once clamped, my fuel hose was easily pulled off with just a gentle tug. I actually took a file to the new filter to cut a relief around the ends so the hose could “bite” and hold on. So far so good. They appear to work fine now. I will keep a close eye and them and make sure they don’t fall apart or do something else undesirable.

Filters fuel, but...
These were installed on a B&S 19.5 hp engine. You need to pay attention to the mounting direction as the flow indicator is difficult to see. They worked great the first time I mowed. The next time I got the mower out it seemed to run out of gas. The fuel line (input side) slipped off the nipple, even though it was clamped. The fuel was draining straight from the tank to the ground. I quickly slipped the hose back onto the filter and the bulb collapsed a bit. It's nice that it can be used on both 1/4 & 5/16 line, but there are no barbs to help hold the hose in place.
