The box that arrived was 6 x 6 x ~ 3.5 inches. Much smaller than I expected. As I purchased it for a gift, I did not open it. Hope it is child sturdy.

I originally bought one of these for my nephews who were the ring bearers at my brothers wedding. They had so much fun playing with it and catching bugs that I decided to get it again for the flower girl at my sisters wedding. Highly recommend, its a great gift for kids.
