I have had this item only 6 mnths i was attracted to the stainless steel and i love my wine and loved the idea of no worries of breaking any wine glasses.with only normal use drinking 1-2 glasses a week and washing with dawn dish detergent ,the handle of my wine glass the paint is starting to do away on it which is very dissapointing as i really liked and it kept my wine cool , As far as being leak proof i cant say as i did not ever use the lid with the product. I did reach out to the seller with my concerns with the chipping paint on it , they have excellent customer service they were very responsive and prompt and sent me out a free replacement wine glass free of charge which I great greatly appreciated.

My girlfriend has a habit of spilling everything she touches, so I decided a cool-looking chalice with a lid would do. I made a side-bet with my friends whether or not she could manage to spill this thing. Long story short, I’m up $20 and have a clean kitchen.

I have another to go wine tumbler but it doesn't hold enough wine. I don't want a half a bottle in my glass at a time but I do want more than I was able to get in my former tumbler. This holds just enough and keeps it chilled and looks cool. I use these when entertaining for family cookouts & I don't want to spill my wine or fish flies out of my drink. I also occasionally stroll across the yard to my neighbor to chat across the fence & this wine tumbler travels well. It's also handy when doing crafts I tend to like a little wine & music & worry about knocking my glass over. This came with a reusable straw & long skinny brush to clean the straw as well.

This was a great purchase! I read complaints about packaging and dents. This wine glass (stainless steel) came in a factory box with logo and a shipping box from Amazon, I think it could have fallen off the truck and still would have been in perfect condition. The stem was not bent, the straw and straw brush was also included and it was wrapped in bubble wrap inside the factory box. In other words, I'm impressed! This little treasure will go on vacations with me in my very glamping (Airstream) trailer! lol

Have owned a light blue version of this stainless steel wine glass since July 2018 and have used it sparingly on the patio with guests. While dusting around the glass today, I noticed about 50% of the light blue coating is missing round the base of the glass and the coating was missing around the brim. I don't know what the coating consists of, but I did not see any pieces flaking on the glass or find any chips near the glass.

Bought this for an elderly person with Lou Gehrig’s disease. He had a hard time holding cups & getting his hand cold. Bought a stainless y’all straw to use with this so he could reach the glass better w a long straw! Was a perfect gift for him.

If setting in a cup-holder be cautious the the lid is closed. Depending on the cup-holder it may have a tendency to lean over.

The mug itself is nice, however, the retain box was shipped in an envelope and not a box! It came crushed and not giftable!
