Love this brand for bore snakes. Storage system is easy and convenient. Oil is a great addition and a great brand. And the price is hard to beat.

I bought this after seeing my friend use one, seemed to make sense for me when you go to the range and just want a quick wipe before you start or between stations when practicing.No issues with durability, seems to behave the same way each time. Very quick and easy to use, fits the barrel snug but not too tight.When I saw it in action I thought it was cool that they make it with functionality in mind, providing a way to prevent dirt from flying around with the outer rubber shell when wrapped up when not in use, but then turn it into a handle for pulling to make it easier on your hands. I find I don’t have the armspan to get it done in one go, but wrapping the cord around my hand for a second pull usually is enough. The handle portion is best for getting it started, since it requires a fair bit of force.

I like the design, it's great having a compact package to toss in the gun bag and the handle makes pulling easy.My issue is the push cable is stiff and will maintain a natural curve due to how it wraps around the storage container. With an AR-style upper this works great, as you can feed it through the ejection port and the curve allows it to naturally enter the barrel.Unfortunately, if you remove the bolt on a bolt-action and try to feed this through the end of the receiver it becomes an annoying process. The curve makes the push cable snag and it will want to exit through the ejection port or mag well; it requires a lot of fiddling to feed it correctly into the barrel.I think these are great for most firearms, especially things like handguns with removable barrels which makes feeding the cable trivial. If you plan on removing the bolt on a bolt-action and snaking the whole thing, I'd stick with a string + brass weight snake.
