This is my second iTouchless garbage can. The first one I had for many years and of course it decided to give up the ghost one week before a wedding brunch at my house. Panicking..I bought a new one and Amazon got it to me in 3 days! Pros: if your hands are full just wave over the sensor and dump it all in. sleek looking and fits in a small space, but still holds a lot as it is tall regular kitchen trash bags fit and there is a holder to keep it in place runs on D batteries or a plug in cord..I use the cord which makes the top lighter Cons: top closes a bit too fast. you can turn it off to keep it open but not a horrible trait Overall I would buy again!

Love it so far! I ordered the power supply (charger thing) so I dont have to worry about batteries ever. Let’s see how long this will last. Hopefully it will work for a long time bec it sure wasn’t cheap!

Best company to work with. Lid stopped working several months in and they sent a replacement for minimal cost. Love this trash can. Will always own this and will always buy from this company!

This was an ok trash can when we got it. I had a hard time spending $100+ on a trash can but my husband wanted an automatic lid so I took the plunge and got it. First, it's very noisy. There is a review in here about the noise that's quite comical but....its true. The pitch of the sound just grates on your nerves but it takes a while. You think it's OK at first but then the more you hear it...the more you hate it but you spent a lot of $$ so...get used to it. Second and most important, the motor has died and the lid is now permanently open after only 15 months of use. We have only used the a/c adapter that came with it never batteries. It's disheartening because we spent over $100 for a trashcan...A freaking trashcan folks! Now I'm searching again for a trashcan because it doesn't do any good to have odor protection built into the lid when the lid is constantly open all the time.

I have had motion sensor trash cans before and always had issues. What I like about this can is the size and the way it fits right under my counter. I like the fact it also holds the trash smell is pretty good until it gets really full. It was easy to assemble, you do need D batteries and the sensor works great.

We bought a couple of these with the expectation that we would see how they work. I do not have a single complaint. They remain fairly clean, as long as we pay attention to what we are doing. No order issues. It is easy enough to trigger the door and then shut it off when we need extended time open- think cracking a dozen eggs and tossing the shells straight into the garbage. Once I get my work bench built in the garage, I will be putting one out there too!

I love the trash can! It is easy to use and clean, and it fits perfectly. One thing we are getting used to: the lid opens just a tad slower than our other one, so we are learning patience. This is not a deal-breaker at all.

I was wary of buying this as its an unusual opening, but works great. Very happy with it.
