Awesome EDC flashlight! Alarm could use some work.
OK, first let's talk about the price. For a device at this price point, my expectations were not high.Wow, was I wrong! This flashlight met or exceeded almost every expectation I had for it. I find it fascinating and moderately entertaining.PROS:Almost everything they claim is true. This flashlight provides a veritable Swiss Army knife of features. It's run-times are similarly impressive for its size. With most keychains, the runtime of the brightest mode is rated in minutes. This flashlight lasts 2.5 hours in that mode and over 30 hours in less demanding modes!I tested its claimed 1,000 lumens in turbo mode. It compared quite nicely to another much larger flashlight with the same rating. In fact, in its central area, it was a bit brighter. However, it illuminated a slightly smaller area. Still, it was very impressive for a keychain flashlight! The UV light provides usable brightness and covers a decent area. However, I'll warn you that it is positively terrifying if your kitchen or bathroom is due for a cleaning! Shining this light around after cleaning may become a new part of my routine :)The many colored lights are cute. I'm not certain what I'll use them for, but I very much like having them. The flashing modes are indeed attention-grabbing and, perhaps, epilepsy-inducing? :)The size and weight are perfect for an EDC. I barely notice I am carrying it.While I haven't needed it yet, I can see how the magnet on the butt of the flashlight could be useful for hands-free requirements. With a bit of twine, I can see how it might also be useful for fishing out dropped keys, screws, etc.CONS:At this price, it's difficult to seriously talk about negatives, but I will. They are mostly minor. The "alarm" is cute, like a beep from a toy car. However, its minuscule volume is unlikely to attract any attention, rendering it useless for its stated purpose. This is the only claim I fault the vendor for making. The IPX4 rating makes the waterproof claim a bit exaggerated. IPX4 is good for light to moderate rain and not much else. I hope later versions strive for IPX6, which is good for almost anything short of submersion. Or, even better, would be IPX7 which would allow for the occasional mistaken drop into a puddle or sink. The flashlight can get a bit warm with continuous use. However, that said, I am still impressed! Other flashlights I have previously owned get downright hot. So, this is sort of pro and con!CONCERNS:I've only had this flashlight for a short time. I worry about the longevity of the switches. This is a problem I've had with other less expensive EDC flashlights. I hope that this model does better. I'll circle back a year from now and let you know how it did.SUGGESTIONS:I hope in a future model they improve the alarm volume and waterproof rating, without losing any current features. And, in my dreams, they would add a laser pointer. How cool would that be?! :)

Little but powerful and many features
It took me a while to decide to purchase this keyring mini flashlight. I'm glad I did. A 1000LM mini flashlight? I couldn't believe it. It is easy to use, it has a big Lithium rechargeable battery for its size and lasts quite long. The UV light is not that impresive but I have no use for it so It doesn't bother me at all. The side LED's are bright but the emergency alarm it doesn't sound very loud. The magnet is a nice feature. It feels sturdy but it is too soon to tell its durability. I'll update this review later if something happens. I think it is a very nice little flashlight and I love it and recommend it.

BORUIT Flash Light Review
BORUIT Small and Powerful Rectangle Flashlight Review: Pocket Rocket with Unexpected ExtrasThe BORUIT Small and Powerful Rectangle Flashlight lives up to its name, packing a surprising punch of brightness into a compact, pocketable design. Beyond its primary function, the inclusion of strobe lights and a surprisingly decent alarm triggered by a long press of the light button makes this more than just your average flashlight. Here's my take:The Pros:* Impressively Bright for its Size: Don't let the small, rectangular form factor fool you. This flashlight throws a significant amount of light, easily illuminating a wide area and reaching a respectable distance. It's perfect for everyday carry, navigating in the dark, or quick tasks.* Versatile Strobe Light Function: The built-in strobe light is a valuable addition for signaling in emergencies or potentially deterring unwanted attention. It's easily accessible through a separate mode, making it readily available when needed.* Surprisingly Effective Alarm: The long-press alarm is an unexpected but genuinely useful feature. While it won't replace a dedicated security system, the loud, piercing sound it emits is certainly attention-grabbing and could be helpful in attracting assistance in an emergency or deterring a potential threat.* Compact and Pocketable Design: The rectangular shape is comfortable to hold and slips easily into a pocket, backpack, or purse without adding significant bulk. This makes it an ideal everyday carry (EDC) light.* Simple and Intuitive Operation: Cycling through the different light modes (high, low, strobe) is generally straightforward with short presses of the power button. The long press for the alarm is also easy to remember and activate.* Decent Build Quality: The flashlight feels reasonably well-built for its price point, with a solid feel in the hand. While not advertised as waterproof, it seems like it could withstand light rain or splashes. The Cons:* Alarm Activation Can Be Accidental (Initially): It takes a specific long press to activate the alarm, but in the beginning, you might accidentally trigger it while trying to turn the light off, which can be startling. Getting the timing right takes a little practice.* No Dedicated Alarm Button: While the integrated button keeps the design clean, a separate, dedicated alarm button might prevent accidental activations altogether.* Battery Life (Dependent on Usage): As with any powerful flashlight, battery life will depend heavily on the brightness level and frequency of use. Extended use on the highest setting will drain the battery relatively quickly. Having a spare battery or being mindful of usage is recommended.* Beam Focus is Fixed: The beam focus is fixed, meaning you can't adjust it to be a wider floodlight or a more concentrated spotlight. This might limit its effectiveness in certain specific situations.Overall:The BORUIT Small and Powerful Rectangle Flashlight is a fantastic little tool that offers more than meets the eye. Its impressive brightness for its size makes it a reliable everyday flashlight, while the inclusion of the disorienting strobe light adds a layer of safety. The surprisingly effective long-press alarm is a unique and genuinely useful emergency feature that sets it apart from many other compact flashlights. While there's a slight learning curve to avoid accidental alarm activations and the beam focus is fixed, the overall functionality, portability, and surprising power make this a highly recommended flashlight for anyone looking for a versatile and discreet light source with added security features.

More than satisfied...
Great little.light for the money. What is important to me is the (1) brightness of the side lights as I use ad a lantern in the tent, or room. (2) the fact that I can run the side light for a extended period of time, I ran this one for 6 hours (and it was still going when I shut it off). (3) you can use the light while it is charging . This is really big as use is almost endless with external battery pack or power source. This little light checks all boxes. Only wish it was a little brighter. Maybe get ride of Ll the colors and allow more white light?, .....and provide a magnet on yhe pocket clip to allow for alternative mounting.
