It slips very easily under a fried egg to turn it without breaking the yolk. I have used it for cookies, brownies, and all manner of baked goods. I have also flipped and picked up burgers with it - not on a grill but in a skillet. I never make burgers that weigh more than a quarter pound, and it will pick up a 1/4 pound cheeseburger no problem. This is the best spatula I have ever owned. It is so thin and flexible, I keep thinking it will surely break, but 10+ years later it is still totally intact and I use it a lot. I'm going to order one for my sister and my best friend. **Q: Does anyone know the measurements of the stainless steel head? Thank you :)** A: 6" long width is tapered - 3.75" back to 3.5" **Q: I just got this item in the mail, and it is slightly bent, is this normal? If you look a the front head on, I notice that the edge doesn't lay flat.** A: Yes, It is normal. That slight curve tends to add a little stiffness to an extremely flexible blade. I have used mine for a year and am ordering another today. Perfect for 10 inch iron skillet or griddle. It has never bent the wrong way and dumped the food. Someone asked about burgers. I haven't done burgers, but I do think it is up to the extra weight as opposed to eggs or pancakes. **Q: Is this item made in the USA?** A: It doesn't say where it was made. I have long since thrown the packaging away.
