The 100mm Modular Holder is unique in that it has an aluminum backplate which stands it apart from other similar holders. The holder is completely versatile and allows for up to three filter slots to be fitted to the front to take either standard 100mm (4") square filter or graduated 100mm x 125mm (4"x5") or 100mm x 150mm (4"x6") filters. By using the spacers provided, 4mm glass filters can also be used in the holder. All holder comes pre-assembledwith all 3 slots. An assembly guide, 6 x short screws, 2 x spare long screws and 2 x spare nuts are also included in the package. Additional spares kits are available for purchase separately. PLEASE NOTE that you need to buy separate adaptor ring(s) (available between 40.5mm and 105mm) to attach the holder to a camera lens. A separate 105mm threaded ring is available for attaching a polarizer or hood.

Hitech filter holder
I bought this to upgrade from the 85mm hitech system I have been using for he past year or so. As with all the hitech holders they are manufactured from aluminium to a very high tolerance. The holder is a good firm fit onto the adapter ring (purchased separately) and is very unlikely to become detached in use. Hitech also offer a good range of excellent filters.

Cheap item only it isn't!
You will struggle to feel you got value for money when you buy this. Yes is works but it is cheaply made, only the price isn't. The finish on the metal block is poor, most the bolts that came with it were cheap rubbish and had damaged threads. Very disappointed.

OK, but not wide angle
I was a bit disappointed with this filter holder. I was advised that the 100 model is good for wide angle lenses of 17mm, and yet if you use it with 3 filters, you have to narrow the field of view to at least 20mm to cut out seeing the holder in view. It's OK with two filters but then you need to buy quite a few filters to give you the flexibility you want when only using two at a time. The build quality is pretty good but i'd look for a wider option if you're serious about using this for landscape photography
