My review for the this Show 5 will be on the page for this product. The Show 5 is amazing, but without this stand it sits at the level you put it meaning that it faces forward. So, if you are viewing the Show 5 placed on a table or shelf that is above or below your viewing angle, it isn't going to be an optimum viewing angle that faces you.With this stand, you can adjust the screen of the Show 5 up or down so it can be viewed more comfortably. So, if you have the Show 5 on a counter, the screen won't be facing your waste. You can angle the screen up to view it from above. You can also angle the screen down if you need to.In addition, the magnet that holds the Show 5 to the stand is secure and will not disconnect unless you pull it off. Although the improved speakers on the 3rd generation Show 5 are great, you have the option of connecting external Bluetooth speakers if you like. This stand also includes a USB-C charging port that can be used to charge your phone or other devices that use a USB-C charging cable. If you buy this stand for the 3rd generation Show 5, it does not include the charging cable, but this cable is included with the Show 5. I have previous versions of the Show 5 and have stands for them. This stand is for the 3rd gen Show 5 only. I got it to use as an alarm clock. It sits on my nightstand and does well.I could stand for fewer ads. And I wish it did more of the digital frame thing.But otherwise, it's a very smart alarm clock. And possibly, when the new Alexa drops, it will be more entertaining.

Overall, very happy with this stand—makes using the Echo Show 5 even better!

Bought this so my daughter could start having an alarm clock and learning how to get up with an alarm. Set it up with her Amazon kids account that she has on other devices. It’s GREAT because she listens to music while she plays or cleans, asks it questions for learning, jokes, etc. she can watch movies on it if she doesn’t wanna use her tv or tablet. The parental controls were super easy to set up. I even have a cutoff time set so she is not up late playing on it on a school night. The volume can go low to loud. Definitely has great sound for when listening to music. I can check in on the camera if I wanted to and see what she is doing, but I never use that feature. I give her that privacy. The camera itself even had a slide piece that covers the camera lens so NO ONE can log into the camera and spy on her which I LOVE. It’s made very well. Color is as pictured for the galaxy version.. I did buy a glass screen protector for it. Definitely recommend doing this especially if you have kids that will be messing with it with their hands and might drop it.

We got this as a Christmas gift for my parents. Recently having gotten WIFI, I thought, well, let's catch them up on the latest they've been missing. It didn't take them very long to catch on (my mom especially) and my dad talks to it like it's a play thing lol which is a wonderful thing to see! Entertaining for the whole family in fact. Can be a tiny bit tricky to pair things to. I would suggest getting the pairing devices that is recommended, lest you have to download additional apps to your phone, but once you've gotten the hang of it, what a joy. So MUCH so, my husband and I, got us one, well, three now, all different alexas for areas of our home. Would highly recommend this model, especially. Sometimes you have to almost yell (especially if background noise) for it to respond, not like the OG dot, which we have as well, but the option to see the display, is great. I really like how you can tilt it for a better viewing angle, especially when using it on a countertop. The bonus USB-C charging port is a smart addition, keeping things neat and giving you a handy extra charging option.That said, I do wish it were just a bit taller. When I’m using it on lower surfaces, like a kitchen counter or nightstand, I find myself wishing the screen sat just a little higher for easier viewing. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it would make a good stand even better.Overall, it’s still a great accessory that improves your Echo Show experience. Just could’ve used a bit more height for perfect ergonomics!
