Good product but no instructions
This is a well designed/made product made with plywood (plywood is a laminated wood product, folks, so don't be misled by the layering effect you see on the raw edges - it is not particle board). I have put together many of these types of products in the past so could figure out how to assemble it. I like the board in the back that runs from side to side because it allows you to fasten it into studs no matter where they are. But, take note, Manufacturer: if you want to develop a loyal and happy customer base, you need to assume that they have no clue how to assemble it, and don't want to take the time to figure it out. A 2 cent piece of paper with written instructions included would have perfected your package and earned you 5 stars from this customer. I ordered two of these and no instructions were included in either package so have to assume the exclusion of instructions was a deliberate decision on the part of the manufacturer.

Super strong and well made with simple assembly
These are the only DIY closet shelves that I could find that were made of PLYWOOD instead of particle board or MDF. They are much stronger and plywood is always more durable in the long run. Very easy and quick to assemble. The only draw back is the mounting hardware-you will have to buy this separately depending on the type of wall you have. I have drywall, so I used plastic drywall anchors, screws, and washers. Three on the back wall and one on the side for extra stability. I have used them for about 1 month and they have been great.

Need to know what you're doing to install
unit is fine. Barebones, though. No instructions or hints for properly supporting on the wall. (I suspect someone has an attorney that want to limit legal exposure in case someone screws it up.) No holes for mounting, which is appropriate since the hole placement depends on position of the wall stud. And on advice to glue parts together - the top panel depends on press fit otherwise. With all that said, it was exactly what I needed, hence the four stars.

Nice shelf but total cost and shipping a little much
Packaged well but still had minor damage on the corner as in the picture. Order date to actual delivery was a little long. It’s a nice shelf and looks good in my laundry room. Sturdy and did come with good screws for mounting in wall studs. I felt it was a little expensive for simple wood pieces and then was charged for shipping. Would have bought from another seller to avoid the shipping but could not find a similar product. Overall, I’m pleased and glad to check off my list.

Cheaply made.
I am using this product for my daycare. It is for my daycare kids dress up clothes. We made the product work however we were not happy with it. We had to screw the entire shelf together with screws so it would stay together. Otherwise it would of fallen apart. It's isn't the most attractive fix but like I said my husband and I made it work. It was a lot of money for something that was so cheaply made.

parts package open and missing one screw. no directions ...
parts package open and missing one screw. no directions though simple enough to put together. my handyman was able to install securely without missing screw for tightening cam bolt. fast delivery. overall, it suits my needs perfectly and seems fairly heavy duty, put 4 gallons of bleach, detergent on it no problem. wish they'd upgrade their quality control a bit I have a closet I need to make over and might want to order again

It a category of so so, this is the better option.
This will sound dumb. Until everything is assembled and anchored to a wall it will fall apart. Once anchored to a stud it’s ok.

Must have a way to mount for your application.
Personally I think this is overpriced. The wife wanted it. It's nothing but particle board with laminate. No directions, but not needed. I would recommend using wood glue with the dowel pins to help reinforce it.You have to come up with your own way to mount it.I counter sunk 3 holes in the rear backer board and used heavy drywall anchors.
