Amazing Scent
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Classy, Long-Lasting Scent That Actually WorksI wasn’t sure what to expect with a wood block air freshener, but Drift absolutely impressed me. The teak scent is clean, masculine, and upscale—not overpowering like typical store-bought fresheners. It gives off subtle cologne vibes that make my car smell fresh without being too intense.The design is minimal and elegant, and it clips easily to my visor. I’ve gotten compliments from passengers asking what scent I’m using. Plus, I love that it’s made with natural materials and oils—no heavy chemicals or weird fake smells.After about 3–4 weeks, the scent started to fade, but that’s expected. I signed up for the refill subscription and it’s been super convenient.If you want your car to smell like a luxury lounge instead of a candy store, the Drift teak scent is a game-changer.

Drift Car Air Freshener: A Stylish Scent, But Does It Last?
As someone who appreciates a pleasant aroma in my car without the usual bulky vent clips, the Drift car air freshener immediately caught my eye. Billed as a sophisticated, functional, and long-lasting alternative, I was eager to put it to the test. Here's my take on this unique car accessory.First Impressions & Design:Drift truly stands out with its design. Ditching the typical plastic, these fresheners are crafted from sustainably sourced wood and boast a sleek, minimalist aesthetic. The "Teak" scent, with its notes of teakwood, amber, and cedar atlas, sounded intriguing and lived up to expectations – it's a genuinely luxurious and inviting fragrance, far from the artificial smells often found in car fresheners.The installation is ingenious. The wood block magnetically snaps onto a discreet metal clip that attaches to your car visor. This keeps it completely out of the way of your air vents and line of sight, which is a huge plus for me. It's a simple, elegant solution that enhances the car's interior rather than cluttering it. The "Made in the USA" claim and the use of natural essential and fragrance oil blends, free of harmful chemicals, also add to its appeal.Scent & Longevity:The Teak fragrance itself is fantastic – warm, rich, and sophisticated. It fills the car with a subtle, yet noticeable, aroma that's genuinely enjoyable. However, this is where my experience diverges slightly from the "long lasting" claim. While the initial scent throw was excellent, I found that for my personal preference, the strong, noticeable fragrance only lasted about 2 and a half good weeks. After that, it became significantly fainter.The product description suggests replacing the scent block at minimum every 30 days, which aligns with my experience of the scent gradually dissipating. Considering the premium price point, getting only about two and a half weeks of strong scent makes it a somewhat expensive habit if you prefer a consistently potent fragrance.The Verdict:The Drift car air freshener is a beautifully designed product that offers a truly premium scent experience. If you prioritize aesthetics, a discreet placement, and a high-quality fragrance, this is an excellent choice. It's a breath of fresh air (pun intended!) compared to conventional car air fresheners.However, if longevity is your absolute top priority and you expect a month of strong scent, you might find yourself wishing the fragrance lasted a bit longer, especially given the cost of refills.Pros:Sophisticated Design: Made from real wood, magnetically attaches to the visor, completely out of the way.Luxury Scents: High-quality, natural essential and fragrance oil blends.Made in the USA: Sustainably sourced materials.Refillable: Reduces waste and allows for scent variety.No Harmful Chemicals: A healthier option for your car's interior.Cons:Scent Longevity: For my personal preference, the strong scent lasted about 2.5 weeks, which might be shorter than some users expect for the price.Cost of Refills: Can become expensive if you prefer to replace the scent frequently.Overall Recommendation:I would recommend the Drift car air freshener to anyone looking for a stylish, discreet, and high-quality car fragrance. Just be aware that while the scent is fantastic, you might find yourself replacing the blocks more frequently than the suggested 30 days if you prefer a consistently strong aroma. It's a luxury item that delivers on aesthetics and initial scent, but consider your budget for ongoing refills.

This is an interesting product
I have a friend who has drift and I decided to try it out. I'm giving it four stars because it does not smell in my vehicle. I'm not sure why this is because I could definitely smell it in my girlfriend's vehicle. Since I opened it I didn't think I could return it. Overall it is a good product I just don't know if mine had something wrong with it. I ordered the teak flavor because that's my favorite smell.

Overall = Worth It
• Scent longevity: I’ve hung this in both my ’11 Xterra and work fleet vehicles—two weeks + zero fade. My car doesn’t smell like a gym bag or puppy breath. Win.• Mount & hang: Simple clip design—no wrestling with adhesives or dangling chains. Slips right into the vent, gives you fresh air on command.• No nauseous fumes: Some fresheners hit you like cheap cologne. This one’s subtle. Doesn’t make me feel like I’m gassing on fumes while talking margins.• Family & pet-friendly: Blue hops in and out—sometimes with muddy paws. This air freshener neutralizes the funk without harsh chemicals. Family-approved (including furry family).The catch? Price runs about mid-tier—not cheap, but not Bentley-tier either. If you’re looking to dress your whip in a scent that says “I drive with intention,” this one ticks the box.TL;DR: Drift Car Air Freshener = a fresh-smelling, no-nonsense companion for your ride. Keeps it classic, keeps it cool. Strongly recommended.

Cute $13 wood block in my car that smells like cinnamon
I got the teak scent with the starter kit. It was easy to clip onto the sun visor, and the smell is phenomenal. I would describe the teak as a warm, slightly woody cinnamon. It reminds me a lot of cinnamon extract or cinnamon essential oil. It's a good unisex fragrance in my opinion, though I know some may find it too masculine. If you prefer very feminine scents, I would suggest avoiding the teak.I just put it in my car, so I will try to remember to update this on the longevity of the scent once it finally fades. I'll be able to decide whether it's worth it or not by how long it lasts. Initially, at least, this gets 5 stars.Small update - About 3 days after putting this in my car, the intensity of the scent dropped. It's not so powerful that every inhale inside my car smells like intense teak, but it's still pleasant.5/31/25 - The scent has lost more intensity. I still catch it as I enter the car which is nice, I assume my passengers think my car smells nice when they step in, but otherwise I don't really catch it. I live in SoCal and my car sits in the sun, and I noticed the intense heat causes the oils to seep out of the block. I attached a pic that shows what I mean. I suspect the scent molecules are being destroyed by the SoCal heat, and if I had my car in a cooler location during the day, the scent would be staying around much longer (and the oils wouldn't be seeping out the wood).Before you buy this, consider how hot the interior of your car will get during the day when not in use. Too much heat will destroy the scent molecules and shorten the lifespan of this air freshener.
