Perfect Design
The locking plate adapter fits perfectly in my Mac Studio 2023, and it does not require tools to be installed. The locking plate does not block the Mac ports.Separately, I bought a Kensington NanoSaver® combination lock with a carbon steel cable and protective nylon sheathing that connects to the locking plate. Now I have no worries about possible theft attempts on my Macstudio.

Wonky and Kensington Combination Lock Cumbersome
I was delighted to discover that there was indeed a Kensington locking solution for the Mac Studio. (I'm a longtime user of their security devices.) This one doesn't pass the "is it worth it?" test. The lock hangs precipitously from the bottom of the Mac; the nano combination lock is just hard to use. I returned the product and am looking for other options. (I've already got a large dog as my #1 theft deterrent.)

dumbest thing
So I was hoping to use all our existing Kensington locks with this for the Mac studios. It turned out this one is nano-sized, even though there is enough metal space to make it standard. All in the grid.
