Used every day
I don't see any reason to give these scales anything less than 5 stars. Easy to use, timer and tare function included, rechargeable, good build quality, accurate to 0.1g as i use them and are a decent price. I use them every day and have had no problems.

Perfect for the job
Can't fault this item. I bought it for accurately measuring coffee beans and timing extraction while monitoring yield. Its also rechargeable do no battery replacements necessary. It seems well built and its easy to use and clean with the removable rubber mat.

Excellent value!
I was going to buy the £45 Timemore scales when I noticed this product with very similar features at a much more appealing price. Here are my findings after a week in use.Pros- measures to 0.1g precision. This is great when you are looking for consistency and the ability to fine tune the taste by increasing or lowering the coffee dose- built in timer than can be started manually or automatically when you start pouring your water over the coffee in Aeropress or V60 etc This is excellent- tare function working well so far- USB charging. I like the lack of traditional batteries.- good battery life. Has lasted over a week of brewing 3 or 4 coffees a day and is still going, so no complaints here- removable rubber coverCons- weight can fluctuate after measuring by .1or .2g- the timer stops when I take my Aeropress off the scales to swirl whilst brewing and I have to start it again, this is annoying- I would have preferred buttons you can actually feel as opposed to built into the display- the display is a dust magnet and shows off your fingerprints- the rubber cover is difficult to clean due to the groovesConclusionWhilst not perfect let's not forget this is only £14 and at that price I am more than happy to live with its little quirks. An excellent VFM proposition.

For coffee, I'm trying not to like it to justify a Timemore scale. But I can't.
The media could not be loaded. It's fairly deep. So not for everyone.Under my Bambino it's fine. Even with a deep cup and not my vacuum style cup.Two tone clear display.Auto pour function that seems to work well.If finicky because it will only stop timing once you remove the vessel.Think I'd switch to manual as easier to control.Seems accurate from its point of view don't have another brand to compare.0.1 gm is being picked up so finally can dose coffee accurately.Battery life seems very good.Negative is that usb c charging port is not covered so would it in long term be affected by possible moisture? Also it's on the right side near back. It'. On the side where most of your workflow would be but in turn if you were worried it's on the side where you could most easily keep an eye on it.Good that it then comes with long enough cable.I recommend.

Honestly, not bad
Not bad at all. It looks good, it works well. The fact that it’s rechargeable via USB isn’t an issue for me and I actually prefer it that way.Battery life could have been better though. I weight coffee once, maybe twice every day for a total “on” time of maybe 10 minutes top and it lasts a couple of weeks before I have to charge it again, but it beats having to deal with disposable batteries.

Battery dead after just 9 months
It is a very sensitive weighing device for measuring coffee and other low weight items. Unfortunately the battery is now completely knackered after just 9 months, rendering it useless. All the positive reviews on here are from customers who have only had it less than a few months, so beware! I would avoid.I have sent the supplier a message about it so I will see how they respond and update this review…

Great value for Money
Work as well as more expensive options. Work in a cafe with expensive scales and I use these at home. Really happy with the functionality and build quality

Be careful if using on espresso machine
I have a sage bambino. First this scale is larger than the part of the machine where you place your cup. Then when on the machine it never goes to 0 so you can’t ever know how many grams of espresso you have got from one pulled shot. It’s probably a good scale, but for use with smaller espresso machines, it’s slightly useless to me. There are other smaller ones that ‘do what they’re told’ when placed underneath a cup on the machine.
