It's chunky and is kinda wet, I keep it in a salt cellar with a lid. I can reach in and grab some salt and crush it on my food. It works well in a mortar and pestle. It's a nice texture when I eat it I like a crunchy salt. It's got a grey color to it.

I was told to only take a few crystals to prevent cramps. It is Really salty. So far no cramps.
