Didn't leave me board
This series is great and I'm happy to see that it arrived in good condition. Found no problems with the discs at all. If your looking for anime that falls into the action fantasy genre then you won't be disappointed with queen's blade season 2. A series that has a great cast, good character development and a well driven story will be hard to pass up.

Take off the Ecchi colored glasses.
This series in my opinion is pretty underrated. I say this because the way it is marketed is the possible reason why this show hasn't caught on as say Sekirei or Freesing in terms of popularity or fanbase. The way it was advertised made this look like it was just showing actions scenes that were recorded from a fantasy hentai and even the figures look like it.This show is anything BUT hentai. This show is your basic fighting tournament anime with the exception being that cloths get torn or ruined legitlly and every contestant are women and only women as the person who wins becomes a queen. Not so original in it's plot, but the twists and small touches make this seem like this is unique. The characters actually have some personality and could actually be relatable depending on your point of view and the humor is pretty funny. Now like I said, this is not hentai. Anybody thinking they will be seeing a mans noodle or even a womans taco is gonna have to look elsewhere. This is a pretty good show, and if you can handle the cringe worthy amount of fanservice, it is worth a buy.

Fanservice Special!
My purchase was delivered in a timely manner and no problems with shipping or damage. I really do love this series, it’s a little overly fan-serviced; but hey you know what you’re getting into. If you like series such as Sekirei, Mouse, or Valkerie, you are going to want to add this to your collection.

So far it's as good as the 1st set of queens blade complete series ...
So far it's as good as the 1st set of queens blade complete series (aka QB: Exiled Virgin). But I don't like the intro music as much as I liked it in the Exiled Virgin. They still turn up with the juicy bits -w-.

Great follow up to the exiled virgin
Great follow up to the exiled virgin. More intense story line with a great focus on the characters. I actually found myself sobbing through some of the intensely emotional fight scenes.

Fan service fighting
Queens blade is fan service meet mortal combat. The animation is excellent, tho the story does tend to drag. If you're looking to purchase this series, beware of the price. Amazons price is reasonable, but the used copies are way over priced. Its best to avoid these profiteers.anything over 30 dollars U.S. is beyond what this series is worth.

Good Series
After watching season 1 I couldn't wait to see how the next would be, the story continued to excite me but when it came to the queens blade compertition the battles were a little short lived and what was more disappointing was how it ended, it didn't show how each character went on after it now unless there's going to be a season 3 then it was very good but if not I was a bit disappointed so if you've seen series 1 then I'd say get this cause you'll want to know what happens next.

OOPS they did it again!
The scantily-clad, big-breasted women of the first season are back and this time, its seriously sexy!Again, don't show this to your kids, since there are a lot of nudity, some profanities and mild violence....... and some suggestive stuff....Again, the OVAs are not translated, but are subtitled. If you enjoyed first season, you're gonna love this one too!

The cake is a lie.....
Sigh... It's my own fault really - I should have remembered the old adage: "Never let your loins make decisions for you!"Ahem, allow me to explain.. I first heard about the anime Queens Blade through the grapevine a couple of years back; however, with the lack of a region 2 version only recently was I able to get my hands on a copy, thanks to me now owning a region free DVD player.. Just to clarify, the first season of Queens Blade was split into two separate series; however, as they both deal with the same overarching story I might just as well cover them both in this one review.Without going into heavy detail (if you want that, there's an entire wiki dedicated to this series!), the plot - such as it is - revolves around a tournament style competition - the titular "Queens Blade" - that is held every four years to decide who will be the next ruler of the mystical land of "Who really gives a damn? Let's all look at boobies!". The tournament is strictly females only, with women warriors coming from far & wide to prove they have what it takes to be the next queen... So, in essence, the whole thing is really just an elaborate excuse to have a bunch of scantily clad ladies beat the tar out of one another! Now, before I go any further, let me make one thing abundantly clear - I like a bit of fanservice as much as the next man; hell, normally I can't get enough of panty-shots & improbable boob physics in anime! That being said.. well, much as I enjoy it, I prefer my fanservice to be backed-up by other desirable content; such as, say.. a decent story; or 3-dimensional characters. However, when a title's only real selling point consists of how many jiggling lady-bits they can cram onto the screen within the shortest possible time I tend to lose interest very quickly!Think of it like this - imagine you have a large gooey sponge cake in front of you with lots of delicious icing on top. Sounds yummy, right? Now imagine the cake represents the bulk of the anime - story; plot; characters, etc - & the icing would be considered the fanservice.. Now, what happens if you take away the cake, & just leave yourself with the icing? Well, what you get is something that may taste nice, but is far from filling &, eaten excessively, soon becomes rather sickly...And that, I'm afraid, really just about sums up this anime as a whole.. Sure, it certainly LOOKS nice enough - no complaints about the animation - but, scratch a little beneath the surface & you'll find that, really, there's very little of substance here.. Even the battles themselves, which you'd think would have been the highlight of each episode, all end up following the same predictable formula - the combatants exchange a few blows, resulting in their outfits (of which there is precious little to begin with!) being ripped to shreds, all whilst leaving their perfect skin remarkably unblemished.. After which, the favourite for that particular match-up will bust out their own individual insta-win special move &, BOOM - fight over. So, what should be a gritty, life-or-death battle basically ends up devolving into glorified striptease... (Think Ikkitousen, but with less schoolgirls!)Sigh.. Sorry, I don't mean to sound so critical; it's not a terrible series as such.. There was the odd moment of humour here & there, & the girls are certainly easy enough on the eye.. It's just that, after you've seen this series once, there is literally nothing to draw you back to it! Some animes are so well crafted that you can watch them time & time again - Queens Blade, however, is one of those titles you'll watch once then forget about. It manages to entertain in parts but, no word of a lie, by the time I was half-way through the second season even the Man Downstairs had lost interest! (Which is NEVER a good sign, believe me...)Me: Oh look; a nipple shot!Man Downstairs: Meh, big deal....Me: Oh look; another closeup of a girl's behind!Man Downstairs: Yaaawn.. Seen one butt, seen them all!I am, & always will be, a fan of hard copy, & normally I would never be one to encourage online streaming.. However, after wasting good money on four DVDs I will most likely never watch again, I honestly find myself wishing I'd just watched the entire series on YouTube or something. Of course, I know tastes will vary - some people like to watch an anime where they can just switch their brain off & enjoy some mindless titillation! If you must watch this series though I'd suggest either getting it cheap second-hand or, at least, find somewhere you can download it legally... I like to support the anime market in the west as much as I can but, when it comes to mediocre tripe like this it's barely worth the disc it's coded on!
