Great cover, quality paper, removable pages, But still too large for a pocket notebook
This is a great notebook. I love the thickness and texture of the cover, and the smooth, quality pages. It's at least on a par with the Leuchtturm equivalent and comes with the advantages of removable pages and either diary-style or flip notebook-style formats (for note taking on the go, only the latter really works for me; it's too cumbersome to wedge open the pages if it's diary style). There's just one problem: I didn't check carefully and now find that A6 is still too large for my needs. For people like me, wanting to make quick notes rather than diarising, the need is for a truly pocket-sized notebook with a flip-over binding and removable pages. On this, both companies are missing a trick, rather like Filofax did before it lost its way:- With its flip-over option and perforated removable pages, Dingbats in A7 would be perfect.- The Leuchtturm A7 is a perfect size but for me it needs the option of overhead flip binding, and perforated pages. Offering lots of brightly-coloured binders doesn't make up for this lack of functionality!

Beautiful best I've ever used
Theses note books r well worth the money they are beautiful to write in I've brought a few of these notebooks at least two dot notebooks for journaling another plain for sketching a a5 and a6 which I use for sketching outdoors they handle pen and ink well (no seeping through) and I've just bought one for note taking. They are well made and lie flat when needed I also love the covers nice to the touch and colours they use the added bonus is helping wildlife if I could give more than 5* I would

lovely, pen friendly notebook, BUT WHY NO PEN HOLDER??????
Dingbats notebooks are a real find for me, especially after falling out of love with Moleskine years ago - paper not good for fountain pens, gimmicky nonsense such as stickers etc. This is lovely: the cover's texture and colour is a real delight, the paper fantastic for fountain pen with no feathering or bleed through and smooth run over the surface; the whole thing is very well made and substantial, with the elastic binder nicely keyed in.However, one of the appeals of the landscape opening Dingbats (I have the A5, lined in red) is the penholder, in my opinion an even more essential feature on a notebook size that is often chosen for a bag. Why on earth is there not one on these? I know such holders are usually opposite the hinge and that dimension preclude that here. but is there any reason why it should not be on the side: it would certainly fit!The absence of this feature almost put me off: I'm glad it didn't, but I AM disappointed that it doesn't have one. For me, that definitely knocks one star off.

Very high quality product
Loved it so much that I bought a full size one too. My wife also ordered few for herself. Definitely worth extra £ vs cheaper ones

High quality note book
I get through a lot of note books and now that I have found Dingbats I will not look anywhere else again !Writing in these books is actually a pleasure (yes that is possible)Everything from the cover to the pages are of the highest quality and I can not reccommend this brand of note books enough !Too many compays churn out their products en-mass and put profits over quality - we seem to live in a culture that do not expect anything to last long - this is NOT the case for the company who makes these, keep up the good work Dingbats, I will be back :)

Quality was recognized by people and during business meetings. I am ordering more as gifts for my customers.

Excellent Notebook
I m a fan of Dingbats Notebooks and this one is of usual high quality. I like in particular that it is slightly bigger than average notebooks or notepads of this size.
