I wanted a reasonably light weight toilet seat for the downstairs toilet and this fitted the bill nicely. I am impressed with the fittings and how secure it was to fix in place. The ability to remove to clean is a nice touch and the soft close seems to work well. Overall very happy with it and it fitted the original toilet bowl very well.

however, it’s prone to get loose on the hinge and there’s no easy way to tighten.

Lightweight, easy to install, good buy

I returned this item before unwrapping or fixing it because after reading the instructions it was clear that it was not going to be suitable for my purposes. The first thing was that it was not a heavy resin seat but white plastic and very evidently white plastic, shiny and plastic looking but a good enough seat with the new easy fix and remove feature. However, it clearly stated that it should not be in full sun or it could discolour. Well the Velux window in the bathroom where this seat was going, is in direct line with the toilet so it gets very full sun and naturally magnified by the window glass so obviously not at all suitable. It is dubious whether the lid can even be sat on so not a good investment all round. This was the reason for changing the white wooden existing seat, while sturdy, it had become very discoloured and looked unhygenic. I'm afraid I'm going to have to pay a little extra and get a "proper toilet seat" that doesn't have the drawbacks of plastic seating and is made to last, be sat on and will stay white That said, at the price it is a perfectly acceptable seat if it is for moderate use in a shady room.

Seat was easy to fit soft closing seat very comfortable, very easy to clean much better than my old one.

Wrong shape for my loo , but good quality

Flimsy Rubbish Listing states it's made from urea formaldehyde - a nice sold, rigid plastic. It's NOT. It's cheap flimsy thermosoftening plastic. The front of the seat won't even sit level with the pan as it's warped. I'll be binning this and buying something branded to replace it.

Quite a sturdy seat, this is easily kept clean and fits great! I’m not a small person at almost 13 and half stone and suits fine..I think instructions could be clearer as I didn’t realise the rubber had to go through hole too but after sussing it out myself it doesn’t move at all!! Good value too, soft close a dream! Update: had this seat nearly 3 months now and it hasn’t worked loose once! Annoying when I read other reviews stating theirs comes loose..they are obviously fitting it wrong! One reviewer was pushing rubber bung through hole with the screw attached!! Another says it takes 2 people, one to screw and another to hold the rubber underneath? I mean really what were they doing!! Do this : 1) remove screw from rubber bung an press bung through hole in toilet..I had to really squeeze it through, it leaves a lip round hole.. 2) put spiked round hinge base over hole on top of rubber lip 3) put washer on screw an place in slot on base and screw into hole.. the rubber tightens this up.. add seat to align an tighten screw fully.. job done.. add cap to cover.. it won’t go anywhere!! I’m 68 and a disabled woman so if I can do it anyone can..plz don’t knock the product because u are doin it wrong!

Pour changer le mien qui s'est cassé et là je dois dire que je suis ravi par la facilité d'installation, je tiens à préciser que je suis handicapé moteur et n'ai qu'une main de valide et là avec ma seule main ça m'a pris 15 minutes à peine pour l'installer j'ai choisi l'option installation par le haut puisqu'il est possible de l'installer soit par le haut ou le bas, en ce qui me concerne par le haut bien plus pratique nul besoin de se contorsionner, reste à voir maintenant la solidité dans le temps mais jusque là parfait je suis ravi.

Il prodotto è di qualità medio bassa, realizzato in polipropilene con spessore appena sufficiente per il suo impiego. Nel mio caso l’oggetto è arrivato danneggiato, probabilmente sia a causa dell’imballo insufficiente che della bassa qualità realizzativa. Non ne consiglio l’acquisto, meglio optare per prodotti più costosi ma durevoli.
