## Questions & Answers

**Q: What type of paint should you use?? Everything i have tried scratches right off.**
A: I mix acrylic paints right into it to give it a base color.  I then use acrylics, acetone based spray paints, stain, alcohol activated paints, you name it.  Each achieves a different effect.

**Q: How would you compare this to aves apoxy sculpt? Thanks**
A: They are very similar although the Aves line does offer extensive color choices as opposed to magic sculpt. Some of our artists say that Aves has a longer working time. Aves does have safety information available (msds sheets) while magic sculpt does not.

**Q: Can it be pressed into a mold?**
A: Yes but I’m not sure I’d trust it in anything with fine detail or where air bubbles are likely to get trapped.

**Q: Is there a possibility to work longer on my item than only one hour? Could I keep it wet and air-isolated to slow down the drying process?**
A: I just mix it as I go. Mix for one area, add detail, mix for the next, etc. the drying is a chemical reaction so putting it in an air-tight container will not prevent drying and water doesn't really penetrate beyond the surface layer.
