Well over 5 Stars
First off, . . . WOWZA, just effing WOWZA!This is one seriously impressive piece of technology. It's been a good bit since I've handled something like this, much too long!I'm not the most well-versed dude to talk about optics, but I'm not wholly ignorant either, or an idiot, okay - sometimes I'm a king-sized idiot. But not this time.I used to make a joke/expression - "the only real help there is from on-high is a snipper on the tower". Then I found a patch on here that reads: "My Idea of Help From Above is a Sniper On the Roof." That patch is on my shirt now. As I actually DO own a copy of the BEST and "only" Sniper training manual/textbook used in this country, I do know a bit about this stuff. HAHAHA!So, what can one say about a 1-10x X 24 scope that isn't in the ad literature? As with any piece of optics tech, one doesn't HAVE to mount it to learn it or "play" with it, gain familiarity with it. The best attribute it has to/for me, is that the reticle(s) aren't so thick, cluttered, and filling up the view, this is almost as simple, basic reticle as there is. Mil dots and all the other stuff ARE pretty nice I admit freely, but it is also all too easy to rely on them too much and lose one's natural 'windage' skills. I like the clean, simplicity of this one's sight picture. No, this isn't a 1-mile-or-more record distance killshot kind of scope, but 1000-1500-yard shots (or more) would be doable, with the right rifle, the right round, and the right shooter. No doubt there are some who may say I'm wrong, but such things are proven on the range and/or in the woods - or battlefield. Talky chatter means nothing. Equipment is only part of the equation, shooter (and spotter) and their teamwork are the real variable. As much as I dig this scope, I am probably going to trade it for something I can use in the immediate; I wouldn't even think to mount this on a weapon that isn't up to what the scope can provide, and that will be a pretty pricey rifle, at least equal to the scope's cost, or at least darn close. I have my 'Bossberg' and as cool as it is, it's nothing but useless for a scope like this - my IR/NV scope is perfect for the shotgun.

Crazy nice glass
I wanted an optic for a DMR. I wanted something that could reach out and also be used for cqb if needed. After searching around I chose this Riton 1-10. Here are my thoughts:Pros:- glass is incredibly clear- well constructed- 1x is crisp, clear and gtg- 30mm tube gathers plenty of light- “Christmas tree” reticle is really nice and useable- FFP is superior and allows you to get accurate range distanceCons:- heavyish- 10x gets a bit wonky, but I’d rather this be a bit off then the 1xGreat optic with a ton of great features. Quality craftsmanship and high quality materials. Riton offers a great warranty as well! Need a scope that does close up and distance well at a very fair price? Then pick this Riton 1-10!

Razor HD killer
If a usable bright FFP lpvo is what you are in the market for this scope is it. It brings a lot of premium qualities for a scope under $1000. The one power is true 1 power that is flat and clear that combines good 3,6, and 9 lines with a usable center reticle allowing you to aquire targets quickly. The 10 power has a tighter eye box than Some other scopes but still allows you to shoot in awkward positions and giving a good image and fantastic Christmas tree style drop image if that's what you like.
