Bought this because I was tired of getting my glasses when I wanted to change the temp. This is bright with large numbers. Easy to install and use. Bonus humidity reading is appreciated.

This thermostat was easy to install and the bright LED screen is very easy to see. The controls are also easy to use. It was perfect for my older mother.

My 91-year-old mother has very limited vision, and reading a standard clock had become nearly impossible for her. So I decided to try this digital clock—and ended up buying several for different rooms. Game changer. The large, bright numbers are incredibly easy to see, even from across the room. No squinting, no confusion—just a quick glance and she knows the time. It’s brought back a small but meaningful sense of independence for her. Sometimes it’s the simplest things that make the biggest difference. If you have an elderly parent or someone with vision issues, don’t overthink it—this is one of those purchases that just works.

This unit was to replace a Nest thermostat. We wanted to control the HVAC without programming. I like the Nest but my wife wants to change the temp herself and not have the unit change it for us. I know the Nest has a setting to allow user control, but for whatever reason after a day or two, the Nest would start turning it on or off on its own again. She found this unacceptable and i am disappointed in the inability to alter the Nest settings properly. Anyway, this is simple and without frills and has a large, backlit display. My only wish is that these units use the electricity provided by the HVAC system instead of needing batteries the way the Nest works.

i liked the way it was easy to set and easy to see at night, but because it was defected it gets an F and a loss off $32.00 + TAX, AND NOW IT'S TOO LATE TO RETURN...

DOA, waste of money. Vendor will not refund. Edited: refunded but vendor declined return(?), later I found out that the only problem was the horrible documentation. There is NOTHING wrong with the thermostat. Now I find no way to get the vendor refunded..

Works fine. Wiring tight in thermostat.
