Been using these hangers since I was in college, they don't take up too much space and look nice. For the price, they're unbeatable. Really easy way to spruce up your closet is to replace your plastic clothing hangers with these. Clothes don't slip off of these and they're really easy to pick out of your closet.

These Slim Velvet Clothes Hangers are amazing. They've doubled my closet space thanks to their slim design, and the velvet coating keeps my clothes from slipping off. They're sturdy enough for heavy coats, and the notched shoulders are great for strappy tops. Totally worth the investment to swap from the thick plastic ones.

These are high quality hangers for an affordable price. Highly recommend! Texture is great. No slipping even on silk. Very sturdy as well. This gives so much more space versus bulky plastic hangers. I got the black with rose gold and the appearance is fantastic!

They're exactly as written. Very thin, the velvet seems to "grip" onto the clothing items.....actually, I love this item. I've purchased it a few times. Once, several years ago - those were left at a previous location and withstood years of "lazy use," ie, I just dragged stuff off the hanger. I then purchased more at a different home a couple of years back. They have survived the above-mentioned haphazard use, and three moves. ...and get this. Kids. Two at this time - but two kids doing the kid-version of the adult lazy and they STILL survived. I came back and purchased MANY more and am here to buy EVEN MORE because we now have a blended family with FIVE children. I ordered some about a month ago, and they're withstanding the abuse but I'm running out and we need MORE STAT!Okay, so the positives are this:1.) You can swivel the hanger part around if you're kinda OCD like me and like all of your clothes "facing" a certain way.2.) You don't need to use those plastic hanger things. These grip EVERYTHING.3.) The edges are rounded so unless you're a young child hanging clothes on an adult hanger, or XS/S/M (some brands)/Homemade ---- you won't get "shoulder nipples." This is actually pretty awesome. They fit pretty much everything.4.) I think they repell dust. I cannot confirm it, but the black ones from a decade ago still are black, no dust involved whatsoever. It's pretty awesome. Good news, though. If they do get dirty, they're super easy to wipe off. (I see you, Two Men and a Truck packing my hangers with my plants.) They're super, super easy to clean.5.) They're actually really, really sturdy. They can withstand the same weight as one of the thick plastic hangers, to an extent. (Check out the cons for that.)Cons: (And only just because I'm being fair. I have to.)1.) They cannot hold two pairs of wet snowpants on the same hanger, hanging from the shower curtain rod. It requires one apiece.2.) If you swivel too much in one direction (righty tightly, lefty loosey), then the top falls off. ---- BUT THIS IS EASILY REMEDIED!!3.) You can't stomp on them as a fully grown adult human and expect them to break. It should probably go up in Pros, but my six year old tried to anger me by proving he could break the hanger. It didn't break under his weight. It did kinda bend, which did stick around after the fact. But it didn't break. ;)I love these things.

I was doing a closet refresh and decided to get rid of the odd assemblage of hangers I had collected over the decades. As I was doing said refresh, I counted no less than six different styles of hangers. Oh, how time flies.These arrived well packaged. They feel sturdy for what they are designed to do. None arrived broken. Some arrived with slight scuffing and wear to the felt covering, but nothing too extreme. They hold shirts and pants in place. They make a marginal difference in terms of storage space (something that I think some reviewers oversell, as if people are using gigantic hangers).Would I hang a suit made of lead on one of these? No. Sixteen strands of salami that you are curing in the darkness? Not at all. How about twisting one of them this way and that as a test? Sure, you could do that. But it might break. Again, be realistic, reviewers. I don't really use hangers and think, "Hmm, this is a challenge. Let's put this puppy through its paces." I use a hanger to _hang_ things. And, Amazon, why the optional star-ranking for "storage capacity"? These are hangers, not storage tanks!Given the price, I think these are great. Recommended.

Slim and sleek construction that are easy to grip with your hands and with your clothing. Well worth the money on these and having the ability to spin the hanger head around is a big plus.

Purchased 200 of these to replace the white plastic ones in my master closet. Looks lovely and is of great quality. Only 1 hanger had the velvet ripped a bit, but no biggie as the clothing covers it. The clothes stay on them and do not slide off. Makes my closet look so nice and neat. Will be purchasing more, as I needed more than I thought.

I was a little Leary because the price was so affordable, scared they wouldn’t be of the same quality has higher priced ones, but I’m so happy with the quality! A great purchase!

It is a perfect. I got the black velvet ones for all my black clothes so I got these ones for my white tops. They’re perfect dress shirts don’t fall nice and thin you can fit lots durable great hangers!
