Do these have a chemical or other smell? How bad is it?

These bands do not have any smell I can discern. But the resistance shown on the callars do not reflect the true resistance of the band. Whatever is stated on the band take 45 to 50% off. That will be the true resistance.

Can I use these for powerlifting?

Elastic bands do come in different strengths of elasticity . But when you are Power lifting you may want to do your home work and see what is the bands or straps pros use.. Even though ths one say 100-Pound resistence.. anything can snap or the handles break off. Wear and Tear is your enemy. Be carefull.. Train Hard and Train Smart.

Does this come with a manual? Or does anyone know where I can get a manual or exercises?

It does. Just shows how to set it up. YouTube how to workout with resistance bands. I knew how to workout with them but that here were some exercise I didn’t know how to so i YouTube the rest lol

which gofit band would be equal to a bodylastics 15 lbs rating? [ which they don't make ] Bodylastics make a 13 blue, and 19 black, but I think they need 15.

Personally I would go for the 19 Black. I have bought 12 all together and love them, I sometimes use two together to get the desired weight. I have the door attachment, and I have installed a J hook in my Vaulted ceiling for when I do p90X or other videos requiring resistance bands.
