These got rid of the pigeons for us
We had a problem with pigeons sitting on the garden fence and pooping on the plants. They also pooped on the patio and everywhere else as they came and went. It was a health hazard and disgusting to look at. We tried netting, spikes, decoy birds of prey - nothing worked. Then we hung these on the fence and the problem was solved.

These work!
I've not get hung them up yet but plan to add them to the circular ones I already have up in the trees and shrubs around my bird feeding station. I used to get sparrow hawks dive bombing the feeders and literally picking the blue tits off, so upsetting to see! Since I moved the feeding station to under the trees and hung these reflecting repellents up, I've had no more trouble from the sparrow hawks. I also don't get pigeons anymore stealing all the bird food so I guess that's a bonus too! They also looks lovely and reflect the sunlight all round my garden. I noticed a few gaps so decided to add some more and thought the owl shaped ones would look more decorative! I get lots of compliments on the discs as most people think they are purely for decoration.

No good for us
Been trying to stop magpies from squawking and squabbling near the bird table early in the morning, as well as trying to get the pigeons away so the smaller birds can feed.Read about options and though I would give this a go.Sadly it hasn’t worked whatsoever. Magpies still making serious noise and I am looking at one right now on the grass not far away from the reflective owl. Also came down this morning to find a pigeon not more than 2 feet away from one hanging in the tree practically admiring himself in the mirror!Guess it effects some birds and not others. Unfortunately we are in the “other” category.Utterly useless for us and hasn’t made any difference whatsoever

Great Garden Ornament, but Doesn’t Scare the Pigeons Away
I’ve hung these reflective owls around our garden, they freely reflect the sun light randomly in all directions. This causes a cacophony of moving light that flashes and sweeps about, this looks the business. Unfortunately the pigeons simply ignore them, they’re not phased at all... so in the case of our residents, the product doesn’t work as advertised, hence the poor score. Saying that, we like the way the owls look.

Great product that's worked for me
I don't usually write a review. These actually seem to work - I must adnit I was sceptical if they would! Jackdaws and Magpies have ruined my lawn and I could never find out what if was they were attracted to! In only 2 days I haven't seem them on the lawn and I've now found I have wireworm! So now hopefully I can treat the problem altogether! Here's hoping anyway. I do intwnd to keep moving them around the garden though to different areas

They work.
I bought these to place around my garden to prevent blackbirds from pecking new shoots that I had planted. I had got to the point where this was happening daily.I wasn’t sure if these would work but they genuinely do. They work more effectively if you rotate them into different places in the garden every so often I find. They have stopped birds going into my planted areas but not stopped them visiting the nearby feeders in my neighbour’s garden.Everybody is happy.

Does the job
It wont stop the birds totally. I've tried everything and nothing stops a determined bird. It does reduce them coming into the garden. I have seen a few thrown off their flight path when these catch the sun. Also they are a nice ornamental feature. The only downside is that you have to put them together.
