My 7-year old enjoyed her first lesson in sewing with a completely motivating “stuffy” project. Together we worked on it for several hours. I’d say my best tip is to keep all the pieces, thread and scissors in a medium-sized flat box nearby so that nothing gets lost while you’re working on it. Stay nearby in order to be there when help is needed. Some taking turns is helpful. The hardest part is tying the knots. That will be a good thing to keep working on.The Unicorn was a super cute first-time sewing project! It makes an enjoyable memory for both of us.

It was easy to do

The media could not be loaded. This is a cute activity. My daughter got it as a gift for her 7th birthday. It's great for teaching beginning sewing skills. The directions are not amazing, so you kind of just have to figure some things out. She would not have been able to do it completely independently. It's nice that when you're done, you've actually made something and feel accomplished.

Great to learn to see on fun stuff animals.

I bought this for a birthday present for a 10-year old and for myself (81 year old) so I would be able to help my young friend when she gets ready to try her craft. I loved it. I have already finished all three little cuties.The only problem I had is that not every little animal had all the holes punched in each piece and the directions should be more detailed and have written instructions. I don't think children would understand the arrows for sewing and they would definitely need help from and adult even if they think they could do it all by themselves. I thought the little animals were really cute. I also think you could use just a tad more stuffing.

My granddaughter loved this kit! She is six and wanted to learn to sew. This kit was perfect. This was a great project for us to do together (she needed help along the way)

The box looks like a mouse chewed it opened!I pray everything is in the box.I’m not happy giving this as a Christmas present :-(

My 9 yo loves this kit- she’s so obsessed she hardly wants to do anything else. I was impressed by how empowering the set up and instructions are - holes are pre punched, there’s a large plastic needle for each stuffy and instructions are easy to follow without reading (all image based) - she’s been interested in seeing for a long time but hasn’t found something she can complete on her own - until now. Highly recommend

I ordered this for my niece and I wish I had of ordered one for me! She is eight and was able to complete them with little assistance and she absolutely loved it. They are pretty cute when done.

This kit was better quality than normal, the front of the animals was furry not just felt. My granddaughter loved this project.

Mir hat diese Sammlung sehr gut gefallen. Ich habe 2 erworben und sie kamen mit einer Gruppe von Mädchen auf der Geburtstagsfeier zum Einsatz. Die Optik und Idee kam bei den Kindern sehr gut an. Den Preis dafür finde ich super. Allerdings habe ich mich sowohl Zeitaufwand als auch Schwierigkeit unterschätzt. Getestet wurde an 8/9 jährigen mit 2 Erwachsenen, wäre gedacht gewesen für 1h Arbeit. Besser gewesen wäre 1:1 Betreuung pro Kind und mindestens 2 Stunden für das Alter! Alle Teile waren vorhanden. Man braucht genug Platz damit jeder seine kleine Nadel findet. Auf die aufzunähenden Teile ist gut acht zu geben, die sind klein, fallen leicht runter und man braucht sehr viel Platz um das pro Tier vorzubereiten oder das Kind verliert den Überblick was jetzt Wange ist. Ohne ständige Hilfe funktioniert das in dem Alter nicht, weil auch beim Nähen mal 2 Teile zusammen nähen angesagt ist, dann aber auch öfter mehr als 2 Teile zusammen nähen, und das muss man ihnen schon genau zeigen und zusehen. Die Tiere greifen sich gut an, es ist kein Fehler zusätzlich Füllwatte zuhause zu haben, falls man es nicht so schlank füllen möchte. Es sind je 3 Tiere drin und eigentlich hat jedes sofort eine Besitzer und Fabrikant gefunden.
