Perfect for locking up my music gear that I sometimes have to leave on stage unattended until later in the day or night. Small end of the lock easily fits thru my amp handles, guitar handles, pedal board, gig bags, etc. exactly what I needed. Simple and easy to use and I like the low memory in the cable so it doesn’t curl up on me. It stays nice and straight which makes it work great. Quickly on and off my stuff. Very pleased.

Bought this for a reliable ski lock to prevent theft on the mountain. The end is perfect size to pass through brakes or binding openings. The cable is thick but not bulky, won’t allow for a quick snip with wire cutters like the recoil ski locks on the market. The 6’ length is perfect for 1-2 sets of skis and isn’t heavy to a point it would be cumbersome. Coils up easily to fit in a backpack or jacket pocket. Setting a personal code was very easy and took just seconds. Extremely pleased with this lock, ordering more for the rest of the family.

I intended to write a more detailed review, after utilizing this Euro-type bike lock for a time, but Amazon keeps rattling my chain - One presumes, you know how that is(?) - so will add to this, as the spirit may move me to do so, in the future.I bought the blue one - Hope that was ok - in case it matters, it's not so sky blue as the photo may suggest, as it is a well-grounded basic blue.The design is nifty, flexible without being flimsy; Seems to be made well; And, given my frame geometry, locking it around the top bar-seat post-seat stays creates a fine dowdy-do no-jiggle travel-fit; Unlock her chastity belt-wise, slip her downward, ever so gently, and embracing the rear tire with bike frame is easy-peasy, ample room to slide a cable into the works, should one desire more protection - And really, who wouldn't, if they would only stop and think about it?Obviously, it's intended to cover locking up needs in less risky, shorter-term situations, and seems great for those; One expects it is not to be trused to stop a seasoned bike thief, with time to spare and tools to use.Advise you always lock it, as any other lock, as high up on your bike as able, so as not to enable hooligans with any leverage leg-up.For social consciousness raising purposes -Always an ongoing struggle - I've given it mostly 4 stars; If you want 5 stars, carry a 15 lb. chain, or something more serious, secure in the knowledge that if the bad guys have the time, and drop-out know-how to exploit a weak link, the love of your life is, in all probability, only for the taking.It would, also, not be the least little bit unthinkable, to lubricate the mechanism periodically - graphite over Teflon over silicon, over the numerous petroleum-based products that, really, in the long run, only attract more dirty troubles,-Swan

Easy to set and use. It isn’t bulletproof but will slow down the walk off thiefs.

UPDATE: After seeing my original review, the seller (who is also the manufacturer) contacted me and is sending me a new cable lock. Since I've not seen any other review reporting the same issue, this may have been just a malfunctioning lock or user error. In any event, good customer service is rare and this seller went above and beyond to make good. I really did like the lock. It is hard to find a long enough cable with a small head to fit through a kayak hole. Excellent seller!!!!Previouys Review: Very disappointed. I bought this to secure my kayak to my dock. I opened the lock using the combination 0000 and then reset the combination using the instructions provided. I opened it three times using the new combination with no problem. I then laid it on my dock, went kayaking, and then attached my kayak to the dock and now I can’t get the lock open, using either the 0000, or the new combination I set. Obviously, the lock reset itself either when I laid it on the dock or when I spun the dials after locking my kayak. So now I have to cut the cable which renders this $20 purchase useless after using it one time.

Easy to set code, easy to store, very flexible. We use it for our ebikes when they are on the car carrier. This cable may not stop a determined thief, but it will definitely deter most vandals.

We got this lock to lock our bikes together on the back of our rack to deter theft (they are also locked to the rack with the rack's locking system). On our third use since purchasing this in May, the lock would not unlock while we were on a trip with our bikes in California. After working to spin the lock and try the combination in every possible way, I resorted to using pliers with a crimper to cut the lock. This endeavor took about 35 minutes in the sun, on the beach where we were camped. Unfortunate. We're passed the ability to get a replacement or refund.

This is a good value option to run between a long length to secure multiple items

This lock is perfect for our Pelican kayaks. The holes were just a hair too small but with drilling them just slightly bigger the lock slides right through offering excellent security. 15 feet is perfect to secure them to our roof rack.
