do not really have anything to compare it to. They seem to work well they spread the paint evenly with minimal effort.A screw holds the roller onto the bracket... I did not realize this and the roller and bracket came apart. Once I realized what was going on... have to check screws every so often to make sure they are not coming out to far. I guess if you rolled backwards and forwards an even amount of time the screw would stay in place... but I do not seem to do this.

I bought these to use with tumbler making, they were used, dinged, they had gouges and some kind of residue on the rubber rollers. The wooden handles were gouged and black as well. You can see anywhere the rubber touched left black streaks. They had a very strong smell to then as well just being grossly dirty. The handles are barely screwed in and are just about to snap off with any pressure applied.

Rollers have some imperfections. Feels smooth but when you look at the rollers, they don’t look smooth. Will work for my purpose - glueing up my car’s headliner.

These are my first Brayer rollers so I don't know how they compare to other brands. They work as advertised so far. The surfaces of the rollers are hard and smooth. After moderate use one of them fell apart, but since they are held together with screws, I was able to put the screw back in and get back to work. The edges of my most-used roller might be getting a bit chewed up from pressing down on the edges of hard surfaces, but maybe that is normal.
