chair is comfortable and overall well made. It is higher off the ground, which is ideal for those finding it hard to get up from the very low chairs. I took off one star because:--the strap that keeps the chair closed is not adjustable and had too much give. I tied a knot in the strap to make it smaller. another reviewer claimed there is no clip to close the chair--there is on mine.--the cooler compartment has no insulation. (there is a material for waterproofing). this is not a big deal as i use my own cooler and use the chair storage to carry other items.--The end of one of the shoulder straps was fraying because it was not heart treated. I used a match to solve the problem.In conclusion, a little more thought and quality control would have earned the 5th star

Only two hours into the second use my husband went to recline and it broke completely. This is too expensive to not last at least one season. I am sitting in a chair now that has lasted more than 3 years.

Love chair, needed a higher sitting chair but wanted it to lay flat to sun and this fit perfect.

I guess I’ll keep it for my ocean visit, but ugh, it has issues ! The metal bar across the back of the seat… well doesn’t that kind of explain the problem! Ouch ! No way will I ever lay it all the way flat, too painful. But I find if I move the pillow meant of course for the head to the place where my back hits that bar it’s perfect!
