highly recommend this one
Iβm really impressed with the DC9310 Fast Charger! Itβs a perfect replacement for my old DEWALT 18-volt battery charger and works like a charm. The charging speed is great, and it gets my batteries ready for use much faster than my previous charger. The build quality is solid, and it fits perfectly with my DEWALT tools. Itβs been reliable and easy to use, making it a great addition to my toolkit. If you need a fast and efficient charger for your DEWALT batteries, I highly recommend this one!

Absolutely need it for Nimh batteries
The standard 18 volt Dewalt chargers are only good for the original nickel cadnium batteries which have become so rare and expensive, they are no longer a viable option. Many knock off companies are producing nickel metal hydride batteries, which are better but will not charge properly in the older chargers. I know. I tried and found out. Those newer batteries lost their charge very quickly. This charger is made for those batteries and work perfectly. Love the old stuff but such is life. By the way...the lithium 20 volt suck as far as run time. Don't you agree? Many older tools cause the 20 volt to lose their charge, just sitting attached to the tool! The 18 volt never did that. Yes they are heavier...but they always worked well and lasted longer. Buy this one...or two..or three.
