Botanical Style: Inspirational decorating with nature, plants and florals

I took a chance buying this book because there was virtually no description of its focus or content. Fort, my wife, a high-end designer for a major firm, was knocked out!

One of the best books ever!!!! I have to tell you, to be fair, that i really enjoy plants and somehow the way Selina relates to this world. Mainly the mixed beteween page size photographs and short text are so well balance that is dificult to close the book. It gave me plenty of ideas for my house, i clean some glass bottles that were lost in the yard and did some of her ideas, specially usefull the ones for the patios ( out side yards). Now i feel ready for spring.

The cover is beautiful! The pages have so much information on decor, plants, and includes how to diy plant decor into your home. The pictures are unique and focus on display, style, color, plants, and way of living. No picture looks the same as another one which is something I hate to see in books like these. Repetitive style of photography gets boring, but not in this book. Loved it!

The cover is more inspiring than the actual contents. The style tends to be a bit more "funky" than I was led to believe. Shabbier than chic. I may utilize a few ideas but overall not what I had in mind.

Beautiful book, written by someone who’s work I greatly admire. Selina has such an eye for detail and is instrumental at predicting and influencing looks and styles that lots of us will aspire to in our homes. Packed full of stunning photos, friendly informative text and useful info.Book was a bit crushed at the corners unf - so not ideal for a gift, but as it was for me I just put it down to win some/lose some.

I love love love it !!!! Anybody who loves plants and flowers will be in fora treat. The pictures are out of this world and show how we can decorateour homes, balconies and gardens with flowers and plants. There was alot of work involved to produce this book with so many pictures and somuch to read and learn. Selina Lake is one of my favourite designers andher books are just getting better and better and better. I am one of herbig fans.
