Makita LCT 204 2 x 1.3Ah 10.8v Cordless Drill Plus Impact Driver - Blue

What a product. The best tool I have purchased so far.I have long pondered buying an impact driver, never really knew I needed one. I had played with a RYOBI drill driver and screwdriver combo set that i thought was pretty good stuff for the DIY-er.When I started to work as a woodworker, I got more serious about my tools - I found this set and I am blown away by the quality and usability of it. I honesty don't know how I managed without it.The drill driver is fantastic. A pull back of the neck collar holds the driver bit in place. It is compact enough to get in to small spaces and I haven't met a job it wont drive through yet.All the quality you'd expect of Makita in a compact cordless package. The set is packages in a aluminium hard case and looks the business. it comes with two batteries and charger unit - the charge life on these things is awesome. 10.8v is more than enough power for this unit, its unstoppable with most woodworking tasks you are likely to come across in furniture making and even tackles construction jobs.I just cant praise it enough. BUY one you WON'T be sorry you did!

Nice weight and light weight metal Cary case ideal. Working light helpfully when drilling inside units or dark area. Excellant value

As you might expect for the price but this exceeds expectations. Should last for years if treated correctly, mine won't be drilling holes in masonary but then that's not what its for, I have a corded masonary drill for that. This is a lightweight tool that you can use above your head all day but still has the power to drive screws straight through MDF if you're not careful. I am very pleased, would buy again and recommend.

NOTE: Makita tools quality is always excellent, so I'm reviewing this before I've used them in anger. I'm pretty sure they'll work fine and hold up over time.They arrive with some charge, batteries installed, and ready to go. That seems a bit strange though, since most products come with the batteries deliberately disconnected and even guarded with tape or something; I think because having them permanently connected while the product sits in a store for a year is bad.They feel solid, nice shape, good weight, good smooth sound when running (except for what you'd expect from an impact driver) etc.One issue, though, is the CASE: it does NOT fit the products. I mean, there are no moulded slots or holders in the case for the tools, they just sit in there, bounce around during transport or carrying. So maybe this is a product you want to buy in a local store, if possible. Otherwise, everything is great -- the case is nice and solid, with good space for extras like bits. Products are good, value for money is good compared to other products available, etc.Overall, highly recommended.

Bought as a gift. It was very well made, good quality and made one person very happy. Probably the main tool that is used at home constantly for everything

Very good tool. Usefull in when you dont have enough space. Also the led light is very good when you dont have vision in dark places.

the only thing I wanted to complain about is the plug 2 phase, in the UK we use 3 phases

The power and versatility of this duo is amazing. Great products with excellent quality and feel.

Die Akkus sind schnell lehr und der schrauber bohrt nur im weichen Holz auf Stufe 2 im harten Holz gerademal auf Stufe 1. Also für kleine Schrauben und Bohrungen gut für größere Sachen nicht. Aber der kleine schlagschrauber ist gut schraubt bis 100 spaxs.

Ce petit coffret et indispensable pour tout bricoleur. Malgrés une tension de 10.8V les 2 appareils sont très puissant et de très bonne constrution. Pratique et ergonomique lors de travaux de perçage et vissage en simultané. On peut dès lors faire les trous avec la perceuse et visser derrière avec la visseuse à choc. Cette même visseuse à choc qui est puissante pour ca petite taille. Mon seul regret et de ne pas l'avoir acheté avant.

Beim Artikel gibt es nichts zu bemängeln abgesehen von dem Koffer und dem wackelnden Bohrfutter, aber da geh ich jetzt nicht weiter drauf ein.Der Kauf vom Händler "normon" ist nicht empfehlenswert!1. Liefrung aus D? - bulls*** - das Teil kommt aus Polen.2. offizieller Makita Händler ? Fehlanzeige - und somit kannst die Geräte auch auch nicht zur Garantieverlängerung anmelden.Naja selbst schuld wenn man bei amazon kauft ,.,

Je cherchais un ensemble perçage/vissage léger et puissant: 1kg c'est parfait.Avoir 2 outils est un atout non négligeable car cela nous évites de passer notre temps à changer entre forêt/embout de vissage par exemple.La qualité Makita est présente, et les batteries ont une bonne durée d'utilisation, de plus elles se chargent rapidement.Un seul bémol, qui n'est pas précisé dans l'annonce, mais dans d'autres commentaires, la prise du Chargeur est UK, un bémol vite effacé avec un adaptateur pour une paire d'euros.
