LS60 Wireless System (Mineral White)

Amazing speakers. A definite upgrade for us and purchase once and done! These are great speakers,. Sound great, yes - built in amps. We set them up to work with Technics turntable. Comes with simple remote and other controls in app. Works well with bluetooth.

I bought my KEF LS60s from Amazon in February 2025 based on multiple reviews praising them, including Stereophile Magazine and the Darko.audio review on YouTube without hearing them first. I relied on Amazon's 30-day money-back guarantee (note: I am not compensated by anyone). Having owned three high end audio systems for critical listening over the past 45 years, I am quite particular. I and all of my monthly listening group friends are impressed with the clarity, imaging, sound stage of this high quality system. My friends have traditional passive systems from Golden Ear, Focal, and DynAudio so all of us are discriminating. The LS60s are excellent without a subwoofer, but I decided to add a KEF KC62 sub after owning them after a couple of months, NOT because they lacked anything, but simply because I could.

Updated 3/24/2025 A year after returning the original defective pair (the issue being the inability to connect the secondary speaker wirelessly), I decided to give them another shot. I still crave the sound of the LS60. Even after considering the B&O Lab 28, the LS60 remains the more cost-effective option overall. Out of the box, they may not sound perfect, but with a few adjustments (lowering the bass and boosting the treble), they deliver an incredibly balanced and warm tone. And the game-changer? Pairing them with a subwoofer. Don't even question whether the bass is enough—once I hooked them up to my HSU VTF-15H MK2, the difference was like night and day! And I noticed a frequent glitch when streaming with Spotify, but it is perfect with Apple Music, not sure it is only to me. I updated it to 4 stars, one star less for the original connection problem. ---------------------- Original post in 2024 I had high expectation on this pair and out the box it was impressive: nice look, good sound. After taking a nap I woke up and tried to enjoy again and I noticed the L speaker (secondary) had no sound. Then it was a whole afternoon+night investigation, reset, wifi AP re-setup, power on/off, check Reddit and YouTube, firmware update, everything I can think of to debug but still unsuccessful.. I can get it to work with a wired connection but this is a wireless one and you can see from my living room - having a cable in between is definitely a deal breaker... And from all the research, the wireless problem is very commonly seen on all KEF wireless products.. I tried to call KEF, but never got a chance to talk to any human.. Sorry.. I love the sound but have to return it ...and I wonder when KEF can get this wifi platform upgraded and fixed.. If you don't care about the wireless and can accept the cable connection, this one is still a good piece, otherwise, think twice..

Exceptional sound without the need for multiple components. I highly recommend.

Had to return them because they were very difficult to sync with my phone. Without the sync, no music.

Excellent speaker

If you are looking for most bang for your money, maybe this is not for you. But if you are looking for simple high end speaker that does not need anything else (pre amp, amp, etc ), then this is it ! All I need was Tidal or Spotify. - Ready to go in 5 minutes. LS60 Wireless is probably not for full orchestra symphony, but other than that voice, piano, violin, pop, rock.... all amazing, clear, crisp & airy. All my family members loved it, too.

Excellent speakers, eliminates the need for an amplifier/receiver. Love the wireless capability. Unfortunately the Wi-FI connectivity can be greatly improved, along with customer service.
