Works well with the TACKLIFE riveter I bought. Great for any small scale engineering and metalwork projects. I used these for fitting a table top to a steel frame and for securing some racking.My advice to anyone using this product, take your time. If you rush the thred can be off-center or off-angle slightly, which depending on your application of this fixing can cause issues.

Questo particolare tipo di rivetto (ma è meglio chiamarlo inserto) risolve il problema di dover praticare filettature su spessori sottili, quali tubolari o piastre di spessore anche inferiore ai 3 mm. Nel mio caso sono state adoperate per fissare la barra dentata di un cancello scorrevole; l'utilizzo è assai semplice: bisogna praticare un foro del diametro del rivetto (nel mio caso 10 mm) nel tubolare o nella piastra; dopodiché inserito il rivetto, bisogna fissarlo con l'idonea rivettatrice ( vedi ad esempio questa: https://www.amazon.it/Filettati-Rivettatori-Elettrici-Rimorchi-Applicazioni/dp/B07BR785Z9/ref=sr_1_41?crid=UP7N9L0C0WBB&keywords=rivettatrice%2Bper%2Binserti%2Bfilettati&qid=1695368494&refinements=p_72%3A490205031&rnid=490204031&sprefix=rivettat%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-41&th=1). Si tratta di un lavoro assai più semplice a farsi che a dirsi! Questo tipo in particolare è realizzato in acciaio con placcatura per prevenire la ruggine ed è di un ottima qualità; esistono anche quelli in alluminio da adoperarsi preferibilmente sullo stesso materiale o altri tipi di materiale non ferroso.
