Not waterproof
I was delighted when I saw the boots. They are super light and a great fit. I don’t know yet how durable they will be but my dog found them really easy to wear. Given how light they are I only need to use one at a time as he only needs them for paw protection on one injured leg that has had surgery so even if they don’t last that long, I have four and they are so reasonably priced. I put a gel insole inside too, for extra padding and comfort. I think they are great but they are definitely not waterproof. Perhaps they resist the wet a wee tiny bit but if you live in the Highlands like I do, you have no chance, the boot was soaking on our return.

Good quality
These were good value for the price, they feel really comfy for dog paw inside, durable to stand paw in, definitely no slip. Sizes are generous. Would recommend buying a smaller size than you think. Ordered large for Labrador mix - paw bandaged, fitted nicely, easy to get on, Velcro strap again easy, so far waterproof although dog hasn’t went far. Only reason for 4 stars was the sizing. But good quality & very happy with it.

ok for short term use
I bought these boots for my dog following an operation on his paw and restricted to short leash concrete walks only. The wound had not been dressed but I had to keep it clean and dry. I tried everything from wrapping a poo bag around it and baby socks with micropore tape (which worked great in the house btw) I measured my dogs paw and ordered based on those measurements. The boots however were too long and where the material scraped along the ground they developed holes within half an hour. One boot gone. I turned the front up and sewed it to the upper part and it fit much better and actually stayed on for the duration of his walk, however when i got home and took it off the inside was wet so they are certainly not waterproof after walking on concrete paths and short grass. I thought it might be because I had sewn the tops together so I tried another boot with waterproof tape keeping the front up. Again this worked and stayed on but the inside was still wet. I would say that these boots are ok if you are walking (when the dog runs around the boots come off) on dry roads and short grass and maybe in the house when you need to stop the dog from licking his paws but baby socks and micropore tape do the job better in my opinion. I would not recommend them for keeping a wound dry in wet conditions though and they won't last very long but I guess for £4 they can help a little over the 10 days or so that the wound needs protecting

Works better than a sock vet suggested
Perfect if need to protect your pets paws, easy to get on but could have extra Velcro so could be a bit more secure I have lab nearly not tight enough

Fairly well made but not very practical
These are fairly well made and sustantial but are somewhat of a faff to put on and although they seem to have excellent velcro fastenings did not stay on our elderly Rough Collie as well as I expected. Purchased to keep her feet a bit free from muddy quagmire that should be our lawned area currently.Bit disappointed overall.

Bad fitting design
I brought these boot to keep my dog’s paws dry and to protect from the cold weather. I was happy with the bootswhen it arrived it was very light compare to other boots. It was diffult to put on had to struggle as my dog wouldn’t stay still. After putting on he didn’t move just sat still but as soon I open the door he was tempted to walk out. Gradually he walk normal but he did skidded a few time. I noticed he stop walking and wouldn’t move probably the boot making him tired. After first day wearing the front 2 boots started to tear. The second time wearing these boots he met another dog and started to play. Both the boot on the back leg came off. Again I notice he stop walking a couple of time. When we got home I took off the front boots and notice there was a small bit of blood on his fur near his dew claw. I took a closer look lifting his fur away and shock to see both his dew claw was very red. The back leg was ok. I think the fitting of the boots is not shape for front paw which is bigger than the back paws. Also the fasting strap is too low which caused the dew claw to rub against it. I have measured correctly. I won’t be using these boots again on my Shih tzu.

Only lasted 10 minutes!
I genuinely hate writing bad reviews but unfortunately these boots were not fit for purpose. I purchased these for my dog who had a poorly nail. He had them on for 10 minutes on a little walk up to the top of the road and back, and by the time we returned they where full of holes. Disappointed I'm afraid.

Great value but NOT waterproof.
I bought these because I needed something to cover up a post operative wound on my springer spaniels foot and he was going stir crazy not being allowed out for over a week. The product is well constructed with a thin plastic/rubber sole to take wear and a fabric body with a material cuff. There is a Velcro tie strap to hold the boot on once in place. The boot can be a little fiddly to get on but once in place stays on even with vigorous exercise. It is not waterproof and gets wet even in just morning dew I have not tried in streams, rivers etc. so it could not be used with any dressings in place that were required to be kept free from moisture. The fabric cuff seems to hold more moisture than the fabric used for the body of the boot. It does dry out quickly. If your dogs got cut pads and needs a walk urgently then these would probably fit the bill although I am not sure there is a lot of wear in these but at a £1 a time they are excellent value and should be viewed as throw away. I bought 3 packs and they are doing a great job.
