Once again the Simpsons delivers with this fantastic collection from our favourite dysfunctional family.Most of these episodes have not been shown on UK terrestrial TV for various reasons, but they all live up to the build up.The Treehouse of Horror is as wacky and abstract as ever, and all three strands of the story are belly-achingly funny. In the first Homer inherits a toupee from a criminal, in the seocnd Bart and Lisa become trapped inside a cartoon and in the third a group of aliens claim to be Maggie's father.The Cartidge Family is typical Simpsons funfest following Homer's struggle to give up a gun which he obtains after a football riot. This episode heavily satires football and the growing gun culture in the US.In the third episode, Marge and Homer find new pleasures after their sex drive rapidly detirioates.In the fourth episode, the unlikely comic pairing of Homer and Grandad unite together to sell a tonic designed to improve the sex drive of its drinkers. It has unlikely consequences.This is probably the best of the currently avaliable Simpsons vids. All four episodes are fantastic and are the ideal present for any Simpsons fan or a possible convert to the show.

I found it a really enjoyable DVD, also found it useful to replace my videos taking up space. If you're a fan of the Simpsons I strongly recommend this DVD.

This is a great dvd,with 4 episodes but no special features they arent great anyway lol.Here are the episodes:"Treehouse of horror IX"(seaon 10)Original airdate:25/10/98In this year's gruesome grouping of Halloween gore, Homer gets a killer new hairdo, Lisa and Bart discover first-hand that TV violence is bad, and Maggie gets her first tooth and a glimpse of her real father. In the first segment, Homer's brain is taken over by Snake when he gets Snake's hair in a transplant. With Snake controlling him, Homer kills Apu and Moe and then sets his sights on Bart. Luckily, Chief Wiggum saves the day by busting a cap in the evil hair piece. In the second story, Bart and Lisa get sucked through the fourth wall into the land of Itchy and Scratchy in the cartoon world. At first it's all fun and games, but when Itchy and Scratchy try to kill the two Simpson kids, their only escape is through Homer's inept flipping of channels. As they flip through the dial, Bart and Lisa wind up in the most frightening place of all: Live with Regis and Kathie Lee. In the final segment, the appearance of Maggie's first tooth leads to a confession Marge never wanted to make: Homer is not Maggie's real father. Kang, the drooling alien, actually inseminated Marge. Now Kang is back and he wants his baby. Homer and Marge refuse to give Maggie up. After Homer accidentally fires his gun during dinner, Marge sets an ultimatum: Either the gun leaves the house or she does. Well, Marge packs up the kids and moves to a motel, where Bart and Lisa have fun playing on the Magic Fingers bed. Homer comes to find his family at the motel and promises Marge he'll throw the gun away. Just then, Snake robs the place and Homer saves the day with his firearm. But he still throws it away. When her husband's not looking, Marge retrieves the gun from the trash and keeps it for herself. The home remedy proves an amazing success and after a marathon snuggle session with Marge, Homer convinces his father to try and sell the potion. Hitting the open road, Homer and Grandpa rake in the bucks and bond like they have never before. But when they find themselves driving by the house where Homer grew up, the old resentment and hostility bubbles up between them. After much fighting and many angry proclamations, Homer and Grandpa make up.This dvd isnt my favourite but I reomend it to all Simpson fans.
