I use these knives multiple times a day sharp at first but that's why they're effective for cutting. They've dulled a bit over half a year or so but are still sharper than any other knives I've had for years and can cut a finger pretty easily still but they've never drawn much blood. Nice size handle and blade for cutting most fruits and veggies and I have somewhat longer hands.

We've had these for over a year now and use them regularly. They cut well and are easy to handle just as a paring knife should be. The only small gripe about the set is that 2 of the 3 tips have broken off after accidentally dropping them on the kitchen floor. Thankfully no toes were lost, but the tips were. We still use them daily!
