Birthday gift and he loved it

was a gift and the kid spends most of his time with his new toy. definitely recommend

once finished it's a great looking train, didn't build the robot or smaller deals, just the advertised train, the instructions were difficult and not very descriptive, not very child friendly. but good build for experienced and bored.

We've had loads of fun putting this together. Very nice for adult and child time together. Good quality and fairly priced. Recommend

great gift will keep your kids busy for a while

Our 8 year old son and 6 year old daughter enjoyed this; our son had it put together in less than a day. He definitely enjoyed it, and we didn't notice any frustrations coming from his activity, so that's a good sign. The instructions were apparently easy enough to follow because we didn't help him any. The only downside is that to build the transformer/robot you have to dissasemble the train. So it's not really a transformer. But still a fun project for the kids!

This set has LOTS of little pieces and hardly any medium to large pieces. The directions are harder to follow than some other brands we use and the instruction book is small. The box says it's for ages 6+, but I don't think a six-year-old could build this without help. None of the bags are labeled to know which bag goes to which instructions. If you are looking for something to do with your kids, this will be fine, but I don't think they will be able to do this without help.

Fun build - built the transformer as that's what my boys love. They played with it quite a while before the younger ones ultimately disassembled it. Fun build, but I really couldn't include my 5 yr olds much as the instructions were very small print & at times confusing even for me. We got it built - just took a while.
