Great quality, and works!
I was a little reluctant to buy it because I know they aren’t returnable. I measured with my tape measure, confirmed the measurements when they messaged me after purchase and I received them in a very hard cardboard tube so the pieces were not damaged or bent at all. After ordering two sets and seeing how great they were and worked, I ordered two additional sets, and it was very happy with the quality and with the consistency! The measurements were perfectly spot on. I don’t think the black tape is necessary for anything. I think it’s supposed to absorb light, but it doesn’t do anything so I left that off. The tape that comes on the pieces with the adhesive is very strong and super easy to stick up!

Great for black out shades.
The media could not be loaded. Great at blocking light! It’s completely metal and seems to be constructed really well. Fits my windows well and I’ve had no issues with my automatic shades. Installation was relatively easy. However, you’ll need a saw and a drill bit designed for metal. After cutting them to my desired length the end caps were a bit different to attach. Definitely worth the investment.

Good, but some small improvements can make it perfect
I have roller blinds that let in a ton of light through as a result of direct sunlight on the window. This was able to get rid of a large amount of it, but it did let through a significant amount. However, with some modifications of my own, I got it working perfectly, and I dare say not a single photon makes it around the inside of the track.1. Make the inside of the track black somehow, like with spray-paint. With all three sides on the inside black, that absorbs like instead of reflect it like the bare aluminum does. This alone reduces the amount of light leaking through by like 80%.2. Use larger brush strips. At least for me, the brushes didn't really block much light that was reflected around. Fortunately they can just be removed and replaced. So I bought some rolls of brush weatherstripping myself - You will need some that has a width of 5mm width or 3/16 inches. The brush length required will depend on your situation, but I actually found a combination of two lengths worked best. For the "inside-side" I used half-inch length brushes (so 5mm x 12mm brush weatherstripping), and on the "outside-side" I used 5mm x 8mm. This is because I found with just the 8mm width ones, it still let some light through, and the 12mm ones would have prevented the bottom bar thing from moving. But this combination allowed movement of the roller blinds and still seems to go right up to the blind, therefore blocking any rest of the light. You can try other combinations of brush length though.Otherwise, it was convenient that they cut the tracks to size and also drilled the holes, and they shipped it faster than expected. So to sum up, the main improvement I think they should do is paint the inside of the track black. I also think the brushes should be a bit longer by default, but that's not as big a deal because you can just buy replacements.

Adhesive way to strong - damaged my wall and the product snapped
I was setting this up in my kids room on two windows. I managed to do the first window without any issues, but I misaligned the second window and some light was creeping through.I thought oh no problem, I see where I misaligned the initial placement. Wanted to redo my placement and I cannot remove these from my wall! I removed one side of the blockers with minimal issues, but this other side ended up damaging my wall. The adhesive was so strong the blocker ended up snapping as I was trying to remove it. I'm now stuck with half of this light blocker in my kid's window frame and I have no idea how to remove it. At this point, I just need to remove it with minimal damage to my window frame. If you can do this on your first try, you're golden and works like a charm. Slight misalignment and need to redo the placement? Expect a headache.

Easy install
Really easy to install and to cut to size. They fit snugly and do what they’re supposed to do. The room is much darker now

A little expense for what they are, but they do work and are made well
I have a Yoolax roller shade in my bedroom that is surface mounted on a window. Quite a bit of light gets past the edges when closed, so I bought these to help cut down on the light leakage. These are very sturdy and have a soft fabric "brush" on the inside edges to protect the edge of the window shade. I had to shorten these channels to fit my windows, I just used my table saw with a fine tooth blade to cut through the aluminum channel. The plastic cover on both ends is removable, just make sure to clean out the channel as there are some grooves that the end piece needs to fit in to lock it in. I used a thin run of double sided tape to adhere these to the outside trim of the window. The weighted bottom of the Yoolax shade fits nicely in the channel and the shade still opens and closes without binding. Looks nice and the color is very close to the metal valance of my roller shade.
