Can you use over a piercing for swimming?

I bought these plasters for my husband after he had some skin growths removed and wasn’t allowed to get the stitches wet. The plasters were very good for keeping the water out, not sure if you had a long “soak” in the bath though! They are very thin and the sticky part is like cling film and moulds over the skin. However I am not sure about covering a piercing, I guess if it’s covered completely and stuck down I don’t see why not. Depends how large the piercing is and whereabouts on the body. I always keep a pack of these plasters in our first aid box.
