Exactly what I needed.
This mobile bookcase is exactly what I hoped it would be. It allows me to shelve books on both sides, and all I need to do is pull it away from the wall to see and have access to the books I have shelved on the backside. It takes a while to assemble as it has nearly 60 screws and as many washers and nuts. It comes with an Allen Wrench and a thin, open end wrench to facilitate assembly. I used the open end wrench to hold the nut as I employed an electric screw driver with an Allen bit wrench tip, or it would have taken me substantially longer to assemble this shelf unit than it did. I used the included Allen wrench and open end wrench for final tightening of the screws. The unit I purchased came in gloss black, but as I assembled it using saw horses as a work bench I scuffed the finish in a couple of spots. Hence, be cautious how you handle it when you are assembling it. It is a very sturdy bookcase, and it's slightly heavy reflecting its sturdiness. When I received the shelf unit, one of the shelves was damaged, bent, in shipping. Unable to ship just a single shelf, the company replaced the whole unit while I returned the entire damaged unit. It took about ten days, but other than the inconvenience of waiting, there was no problem from the company in making the exchange: good customer service.I plan to purchase two or three more of these bookcases as I try to put my hundreds of books into some kind of order.

Sturdy and Space Saving
I ordered this bookcase/shelving unit because I needed something tall, sort of narrow, and sturdy. This is a very sturdy unit and it does not look cheap and flimsy. Being able to roll it is a huge bonus. It's not hard to assemble, just time-consuming. As a bookcase, if you want to store books upright, you may need to secure the open sides.

Missing hardware!!!!
Unable to assemble due to missing hardware. All that came in a separate enclosed box labeled hardware was (2) wheels and (2) locking wheels. Missing were the (40) hex screws, (40) hex nuts, (4) large spring washers, (40) small spring washers, (1) allen key and (1) wrench. Very disappointed not to be able to assemble now. For the seller, respectfully request to send me the missing hardware to assemble the item. It would be greatly appreciated instead of returning/replacing the item because the box came heavily damaged and would be too much of a burden for me to ship it back in a decent condition. At this time, I'm very sorry for the bad review, only because I can't put it together now and have to wait. The good news about this product is that the parts were not damaged, good quality and what I was looking for.

Got 3. Need more.
Tedious assembly but easy to follow. Very sturdy finished build and moves very solidly and quiet. Will need/want more.Update Sept '22: These were $99 (landed) when I ordered them years ago. Look at their current price now...

good unit despite shipping damage
the product itself is a 5 star. heavy duty, fairly easy to assemble & looks sharp.however, the shipping of it incurred damage on the units i ordered. as shown in photos, this is the way the boxes are received. strapping cuts into box & despite inner foam buffers, there were still dents & dings.

Great shelf
Easy to put together and very tall and sturdy, I wasn't sure iif it would be one to get bent easily and it won't. It is open on all four sides.

Sleek and sturdy--I'm happy!
This was the only thinnish bookcase on wheels I could find to fit a particular space. It looks great and I am glad I got it. Clean lines, very nice finish, and sturdy. I did deduct a Star because one of the shelves has a depression about the size and depth of a quarter on its side, and some of the welds on side rails where the wheels to add very bumpy and prominent, although I probably won't ever notice these flaws again. On a personal note, I found it difficult to put together just because there were 44 screws, washers and 40 nuts. My hands are aching still, but it is worth it. The instructions were excellent.

Awesome rolling metal shelving unit; exceeded my expectations
I wanted an open shelving unit for mostly computer gear, but wanted something nicer for my office than just e.g. a boltless metal shelving unit, or perhaps a 19" equipment rack. When I saw this one was the perfect size (especially depth), and had wheels so I could pull it out and get at the backsides of things (wiring!) I took a chance on this though it seemed awfully cheap. Other reviewers have said it looked nice, and it truly does with a nice glossy paint job and fancy hex-head bolts, nuts, and split-washers. In fact the only trouble I had putting it together was because the threaded bolts in the bottom, that receive the casters' bolts, have paint in them and make it hard to know that you have started the bolts without cross-threading them.As usual the packaging took a horrific beating in its cross-country journey, but none of the gouges affected my shelves, nor did the end-drops (rumpled cardboard!) affect the 4 posts; only the foam inside was mangled.I can't imagine doing this with the included tools--use a drill-driver-with-clutch and hex bit, and a socket wrench for the nuts, and save a lot of aggravation.
