ProMark ActiveGrip Drumstick, Black, 5b

Good quality and provide great grip. Would recommend!

A few days ago I gave these sticks a very critical review because I thought they were substandard. After communication with the very nice folks at D'addario I learned that in fact the sticks were fine but what looked like a crack was a remnants of packaging that had woven into the coating. A careful sponge down with a little water showed this to be the case :-)So I also said that I did like the sicks to play with and I want to reiterate that here. They are light and fast and really allow my grip to relax whilst still staying in my hands!All in all I've done a u-turn from 1 to 5 stars. Sorry for anyone who took notice of my original review in the 36hrs it was up. Luckily I am not an influencer so likely noone saw it anyways ;-). I'll buy some more of these definitely.

The stick is so perfect and soft on my hands. Makes playing very easy and smooth. Best stick to spend your money on, worth it.

My wooden sticks kept flying out of my hands. These don't. Also I was using 5B which are slightly thicker but these feel better and are actually heavier. I highly recommend them.

Great grip, great sticks

Doesn't feel like the grip paint is as effective on this last pair. Even once warm mid gig they still feel smooth as if just painted black.Still great sticks but quality seems a little off sadly. Maybe just a dud pair?

These sticks are great, and do exactly what they’re supposed to do. They get tacky when you sweat, so they’re easier to hold on to. The more you sweat, the more they stick; genius.I’ve been playing a long time, and perform and practice regularly with my band. I’ve tried numerous different brands of sticks and stick tape that are supposed to improve grip. They wear, rip, peel; never satisfying and always irritating because of these issues. I’ve worn gloves too, but they get hot. In my opinion, these are the best. They work really well and I will keep buying them as needed.

These sticks feel great in the hands, and are very reliable. I bought a few pairs this time last year and none of them have broke yet.

The received sticks have scratches and there is one deep scratch that has removed the black outer layer.The quality of the sticks is good but the packaging is not suitable.
