Nelson Honey Active Manuka Honey 15+ - 500Gms

Learned about this product from an elderly British woman who swore this helped her greatly with arthritis. She advised me it took about a month before she saw any results. I have been taking this product for less then a month but do feel some improvement with pain. I take 1/2 tsp a day.

Great product!

Taste good, but too costly!

This is my second purchase of this honey and I love it! I shopped around before I chose this brand and found it to be the most cost effective and highly praised one. I wasn't disappointed. As this is a natural product I found that the second jar tasted quite different to the first but still as delicious and smooth. I bought the 15+ Manuka as a supplement as I had read that it helped the immune system from getting colds etc and also as an aid to prevent hay fever symptoms. I've suffered badly from hay fever for years and always felt at the mercy of antihistamine tablets. So far this year I've only needed to take 1 hay fever tablet - and that was before I purchased this honey! I tend to take one teaspoonful every few days and this has got me through the entire (hot!) summer without the need for tablets - no streaming nose and eyes, no sneezing. This has made such a difference and I really wash't expecting it to. The price on Amazon is so much more reasonable than any I've seen in the shops and I'm very impressed with the quality. Definitely a product I will be buying over and over.

I bought this product as my three dogs came back from kennels with mild kennel cough and I read on the net that it would aid recovery. I wanted my animals to combat the condition with their immune system rather than getting antibiotics from the vet as i felt this would help them to combat any future infections. Although most animals will recover without intervention, in 48 hours I have seen a massive improvement in symptoms with a lessening of the sneezing and snuffling. The honey also soothes their throats. The honey tastes delicious and i am going to start taking it daily myself. It is an expensive product but worth the cost if it gives such good health benefits. I did have to think twice before spending such a large amount for my pets!

I have paid over £20 for pots of honey smaller than this, And I have to say that this is the nicest tasting honey I have had so far. the texture and thickness is perfect. I usually have a teaspoon every day or 2 just for general well-being, But something else I noticed is that I had a cold and just from taking this It lasted only 2 days! Thats the shortest cold I have ever had!Highly recommend this product and will be buying again :)

The product was delivered very quickly and well packaged. The price was very reasonable for a good quality honey. I bought it for my husband who is recovering from surgery and radiotherapy for the treatment of throat cancer. He was able to suck some on a spoon to ease his throat. The surgery scars were still weeping months after the operation so we put honey on them and there has been a remarkable and noticeable improvement in the healing process.

Excellent! After purchasing this product I read a few negative reviews about it not containing the anti bacterial properties and saying that it was over processed. As it was a rather expensive jar of honey if these claims were true and was bought for my daughter who has Crohns disease, I needed to know if I had wasted my money.I contacted the company with my concerns,the manager replied immediately explaining that UMF is only a trade name and that the METHYLGLYOXAL is the anti bacterial component and that they don't process it it is only warmed to the same temperature as the hives.They said if I provided the batch number they could show the certificate of testing the product which I did , the two certificates were sent showing authenticity.I was very impressed with how quickly and comprehensively they replied to me. So don't take any notice of the few negative reviews if you are thinking of purchasing it is genuine and a good company to buy from.
