I’d been looking for something just like this for the gym. I’d only found either solid magnets to attach to a metal bar or a wrap one for a handlebar but not one that could do both. I didn’t want to have to carry 2 different magnetic attachments with me.I am a long time fan of Anker products and so when I landed on this one I decided to give it a go despite mixed reviews since my personal experience with Anker has always been great. So far I am very happy with it and would definitely purchase it again.

I don’t always leave reviews but I think this accessory is awesome! I can’t use their other ring grip because the metal ring hurts my fingers when using it, as they all do. Even PopSockets bother me after a while but this is so comfortable to use! It rotates so you get the perfect angle, extremely comfortable when using it as a grip and even works great as a stand when watching videos. It provides a great angle. It doesn’t work well for FaceTime calls but that isn’t an issue for me because it is so comfortable when holding your phone that I’m fine with just holding it. I love it so much so that I’m going to buy a backup. When you have it flat, some people might think it is awkward but my solution is to just remove it if you find it is in the way. This in my opinion is not a reason to not have this very versatile accessory in your life.

Convenient way to keep track of your phone in the gym. Strong enough to hang on to your phone.

I've been using this at the gym and it is absolutely the best ~$15 I've spent. I'm now able to just stick my phone to whatever machine I'm using and not worry about having to find a spot for it (or on the floor, yuck!) every time I switch to a different machine. Besides, I'm now able to work out and not just listen to the news (or podcast or whatever) on my earbuds but watch the news/podcast as I work out with my phone at (or near) eye level.By the way, the magnets are very strong yet seeemingly stronger at the front than the back, so that when I pull on my phone to remove it from a machine, it always pulls the grip with it instead of leaving it behind, magnetized to the machine. Great little gadget for sure!

I guess if you want this to throw on the metal bars while working out or something like that, it would be ok. It is bulky and kind of odd. You can't put it in your pocket with this on it and taking it on and off just didn't cut it for me. It isn't a bad product, per se. Just "different" so understand what you are getting and how you intend to use it. I am returning it,

The media could not be loaded. I use my phone for working out, and it has always been a little hassle trying to figure out where to set it where it's convenient. This little guy is perfect for attaching to the side of my dumbbells, on my bench, or anywhere I have metal to attach it to. The magnets are strong enough to hold my phone, and I couldn't be happier with this thing. A simple product that just does the job.Since the rubber isn't going to scratch anything, it made my job easy when I was outside working on my bicycle. I just slapped this thing on the side of my car and attached my phone.Even if you don't think you'd need one, you should get one for those just-in-case moments. It has come in really handy for me.

I was very disappointed In Anker .. now I understand what the other reviewers stated. Works great for a few weeks— then it will not hold The phone or it will fall off.

Anker has earned a strong reputation for its high-quality products, many of which I’ve used over the years without issue. Unfortunately, the Anker Magnetic Phone Grip has been my first disappointment with the brand.This product is visually striking, with a sleek and unique design, premium materials, multiple color options, and versatile functionality in various usage modes. However, it falters on the most critical feature: magnetic strength. The grip is far weaker than expected, especially considering the premium price tag. For a product designed to provide "glue-like" magnetic hold, this shortfall is frustrating.I can’t help but wonder if this product underwent sufficient testing before its release. Despite its flaws, I’m holding onto it in the hope that Anker addresses these issues in a 2.0 version with improved magnetic strength. The design is truly one of a kind, but the magnet needs to live up to the same standard.Anker, please fix the magnet—your loyal fans are counting on you! 🙏
