I had a nasty itchy reaction to a bandage adhesive. This product was very effective. and works FAST. It's unscented. Psychologically, it was a relief to know I could slather as much cream as I wanted, including lovely big thick glops on my arms.Not greasy. So easy to apply, using gentle massaging.Ahh, relief from irritation! Great value for money.

Actually worked much better than aloe vera gel!! Amazingly good product! Moisturize and killed itching skin and sunburn!! I tried aloe vera and then this. Was amazed!

I love this Itch relief cream from CeraVe! It has the same active ingredient as some moisturizers you buy at the store for itching and bug bites. However, I find most of those lotions to be a bit runny, messy, and they don't dry quickly. Unlike most otc pharmacy lotions, this does not contain a steroid, so it is safe to use frequently.This cream is thick! You rub it in and instead of feeling greasy, like most things I've tried, the itch stops and your skin feels smooth, not slick. It is absorbed very quickly. A small amount applied once or twice at a time immediately gave me relief.I don't usually write reviews, but as someone with eczema, neuropathy that causes itching, and a recent allergic reaction to a medication resulting in full body hives, I thought my input might be helpful, especially if you are debating whether to try this.*Side note: Neuropathy is a nerve dysfunction disorder. This cream does not help neuropathy directly, but if you scratch constantly due to neuropathic itch, it soothes the area on the skin you've been digging at trying to scratch an itch you can't reach.Good luck!In my opinion, it's worth the money, especially if you suffer from severely dry skin or allergies.

I use CeraVe moisturizer and it is a great product. I use if gif my face and body.When I found CeraVe offers a moisturizer that also controls itch I decided to try it. I have a terrible rash on my arms and the itching is so bad. I have prescription medicine , but it does not control the itch. Today my CeraVe that controls itching skin arrived (ordered yesterday) and I just put it on. In less than a few minutes my skin feels 100% itch free.To say I am thrilled with this product is an understatement. The prescription cream will take care of any bacteria and clear up the rash. Thus CeraVe cream will relieve the itching. Just be sure to buy the CeraVe cram with itch control. It is wonderful.

This won't be a "cure-all" for all that causes you to itch or break out in a rash. Definitely not. But, for the hot weather, humidity-perspiration-induced issues, it will likely help. I use it on both wrists (allow it to dry--which is pretty fast) to decrease the rash that comes with wearing my Apple watch or Fitbit (yeah, I'm wearing both as part of a short comparison study). If you are itching all over, this may not be a complete solution , but the active ingredient (Pramoxine Hydrochloride) in this product does seem to help topically to reduce itching and mild discomfort. It may not help with more extensive issues, but that's what keeps Dermatologists in business. (!) A bit pricey, but it comes in a large jar that lasts.

My kid has the worst case of eczema his derm has ever seen or even heard of. It gets BAD. He was also diagnosed ASD so he has sensory issues and doesn’t like how a lot of things feel and often itches making things difficult. I have tried every brand available and approved by the eczema association to help him, but We now only will use this cream because it also 100% relieves his itching. he prefers this over any other topical moisturizer in between his medicine and injections. Just using this alone, there has been visible and drastic improvements. Especially when he was between treatments and had to go off one to be on another. It might not make it go into remission, might not be clinical strength, but it will help soothe it significantly and moisturize it as well.

After menopause my forearms would be very itchy and I tried many many things, and even tried to CeraVe lotion but nothing works like this Cerave cream. It prevents the itching on my arms for the 8 hours that it indicates. You don't need much at all, and it's thick yet easy to apply, lasts a long time and spreads on and absorbs well. Not greasy, not sticky, just very smooth. Nice size tub lasts a long time and really worth it because you don't want to use too much hydrocortisone on large areas.

This is the absolute best for cutting down itchiness. I was on prednisone to control itchiness and this made life livable. It has a minimal scent, is heavy for a cream and best of all, it works. It really helps for chemotherapy rashes, too. I strongly recommend it.
