Fantastic
Fantastic. I bought this for my son with ASD and he enjoyed it very much. He loves trains and buildables. The instructions were easy to follow and the end products looked pretty cool. I would definitely recommend and would buy again in the future.

Overall very nice! Good for price, but poor instructions.
Overall, a very nice set! The box it comes in allows you to put it away nicely; the same is true for the drawstring bag it comes with. Though the small plastic bags the pieces are in aren't labeled in the booklet, you'd have to dump the pieces and sort them yourself. As for the instructions themselves, they aren't very good. It fits several steps onto each page, resulting in the individual steps being pretty small. Which makes it harder to distinguish pieces from one another. A few of the "clip" pieces are pretty tough to clip onto other parts; you'd have to press them pretty hard to get them to click together. When you want to try another one of the builds you'll need to deconstruct the previous one of course, but the bricks are very tight causing deconstruction to be quite difficult. I recommend getting a brick separator if you do plan on purchasing. The final builds are very nice, though! The large train has a few issues with the front engine, as it's pretty loose in one spot, but overall it's good. The main robot is nicely articulated while still resembling parts of a train. and the eight small engines you can make are pretty cute.

Awesome!
Other than directions not being translated properly my son was so happy with this toy. He built it right away. He said if he could offer any advice to the company it would be to bag each train separately within the box. Thanks for this fun little set!

Bad Instructions
The quality of the bricks is excellent; they're just like legos. However, the instructions are tiny and hard to follow. Rather than step by step like Legos, each step is actually several steps, and it is hard to follow. Also, for all previously assembled items, the bricks appear grey. This makes it really hard to verify whether it's done right. The age says 6+ but really it's more like 14+, both because the instructions are hard to follow and because it's a million tiny pieces. Most bricks are one of two studs. Because of this, the final product is far more fragile than a comparable sized Lego mech. So I'd really just recommend for much older kids. I ended up having to just put it together for my 7 year old and it took me hours to complete. It's still a good value because the brick quality is excellent.

Fun For My Son!
I purchased this for my son, so I let him help on the review. There were no missing parts, although there was one small broken piece, a good possibility he broke it, so no issue there as he was quite able to work around that part. He was able to build each of the variations of the robot/trains.While the robot is really the overall focus, I got it for him because of the train portion, and he loved that as much as, if not more than the robot. They were not overly difficult to put together, and as he has autism, the guide cannot be that difficult to follow. After all the fun he had with that, he was able to take the pieces and add them to his collection of those name brand parts. He will continue to use these over and over again.

A guilty buy
My wife really thought I bought this for our child but I always wanted a train transformer growing up. I also had a love for Legos, so when I saw this I just had to get it. The parts seem sturdy enough. For the price it is it's a solid buy.
