Easy to set up even for someone doing it the first time. As a heads up for any new door handle people the mechanism needs to be in the middle for the door to work. These come with a way to extend or contract the door mechanism part so it is in the middle. Something that actually is pretty nice is how many keys this came with.

The only reason my daughter and I got locking door knobs was to keep my six year old granddaughter out of our rooms. I don’t know how secure the door knobs really are because there’s no one here to test them. The important thing is they keep the six year old out. The added bonus was the fact that there is a Phillips head screwdriver included. It doesn’t matter that there was only one for both door knobs. I was only changing them one door knob at a time anyway. I’m very happy with this purchase and I’m considering buying another set for my bathroom and office doors.

Got these for a rental we had to replace locks on. It costs $20 per lock to re-key the old ones and about $10 per lock to buy brand new ones. So kind of a no-brainer. They are as easy to install as any other lock, seem to be fine quality. the locking lever (on the back of the door knob, not the deadbolt) feels a little flimsy. dosent really click into place, kind of loose feeling. other than that it sure seems the same quality as the lock sets at the store for double the price, and these come in a 4-pack all keyed the same. Will likely be ordering more as needed for all the rentals.Oh, and the keys are Schlage, not KwikSet. Which some people prefer.

Good buy but package left at the front door of the apartment building

The best thing about this is that all I had to do was remove the existing door knob and replace it with this one. Just lucky all the holes lined up perfectly. So, it was a 2 minute job. I am a journeyman tradesman though so have had a Lot of experience doing these things...Only 4 stars though because I found the locking mechanism a little stiff and tricky. Might work better with the more use it gets...

Overall good value for the price, installation was relatively easy, my only complaint is this door knob is a little noisy and the turning action is as smooth as my old door knob.
